Overall Bad
Roman came today and solved the problem so he was actually very good, 5/5 for him. But this whole problem took about 55 days to be solved and that is not the expectation I had when I had bought this extended warranty. In fact, Roman mentioned that one of the parts which was shipped to my house wasn't even required and the earlier technician had not performed the right diagnosis. Overall, bad experience and I would not recommend anyone to purchase the extended warranty if this is the type of service provided.

Did nothing
The technician did not attempt to fix the refrigerator and told us to call GE. I bought an extended warranty to have my refrigerator repaired when need. This warranty includes parts and repairs. Why should I call GE?

Didn't fix the issue, caused a new error code
After three visits, my oven still has the same issue and now a new issue too. The technician didn't seem to have any manuals or diagrams/drawings (blue prints, one lines), didn't have any kind of troubleshooting guide, etc. He just started randomly taking things apart. He didn't really troubleshoot, just looked confounded. Ordered parts and came back another time with half the parts. Replaced that part; same issue. So ordered the other part again (that magically just didn't show up the first time—no explanation when asked), showed up the third time, installed it, same issue. He went to the van and called someone and then came back and said someone else who is a certified GE technician will call me in a day or two!!!!! Uh, I wanted the GE certified guy to start with. So he left, and now I'm getting error code F7 which I did NOT have before and was NOT an issue before. Not happy at all.

This review is not about Mike but Sears Home Service
The original was on 6/28. It was rescheduled several time without anyone informing me. Twice I waited all day no one called me to let me know that they would not come. One was on the calendar, but no tech was assigned. I had to call and find out myself. In all I wasted about 24 hours waiting for the service. Finally, Mike had the decency to call and informed me that the title of the call was for a microwave and the item that needed to be repaired is the range hood. The fan is not working. This is a nightmarish service. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Not happy with service
1st app, waited for a few hours and then he came and spent 15 minutes ordering 2 parts for the repair. 2nd app he called after I waited for hours and said only one part was in the box that was shipped and he wasn't coming that day. 3rd app yesterday the 1-5 time slot ended with an arrival around 4:40 and it took him 15 minutes to install. There must be a better way to set up appointments so there isn't so much time wasted waiting for the service call.

Terrible
The technician came out after being hired through my warranty company. He had no idea what he was supposed to be working on and asked me for more information and he said he could not access anybody's notes despite a priorA&E Service being done and that's when the parts were ordered. He did not Test the machine for even one minute before he left, and when I went to run my first dishwasher load within 90 seconds, it was broken with the same error code as before. He put in the part that was previously ordered, but took the other part with him and said it was no longer needed. I called him within 20 minutes of him leaving and he said he could not come back today, but would do his best to call somebody and get back with me. It's the end of the day and of course I never heard from him.

fraudulent
this repair was not performed on 1/11. the part was installed on 1/9 and is not functional. i rescheduled another appointment for 1/11 and no service person showed up.

Failed Repair - GE Cafe Microwave
Mathew came out and discovered one of the capacitor wires was burned and frayed, not conducting. Mathew retrieved new parts and put it together. The control panel and inside lights lit up so we thought all was good and he had me sign his pad. Within minutes after he left I did the coffee mug water test, it did not heat up. I called Mathew and he came back and took it apart again. Two connectors to what looked like the transformer were not connected. He connected them and the turned on the microwave and heard a loud pop. He tried heating the coffee mug and it did not heat. He then tried to trouble shoot it and now nothing works. Nothing will turn on and the control panel will not light up. I originally requested a GE tech but could not get one. In addition, it was put together quickly and screws are not in their exact location they came out of. Lots of time spent with a terrible result. I need this microwave fixed ASAP or replaced with a new one.
