Service tech was good but the part ordered was not the correct part. Have to order the replacement myself, Sears doesn't carry it, if I use the one Sears supplied, I'd have to have a plumber do work first.

Nicholas called abiutb2 hours before his scheduled arrival time to tell me that we need a plumber to install a garbage disposal and that he isn't a plumber. Sears has known for weeks that my garbage disposal is not repairable and must be replaced. I've made numerous calls to Sears home services and am getting nowhere with them. It's not this guy's fault, but I wish he had called sooner to find out more about what needs to be done. I was pinned down at home most of the day waiting on him.

Hamayoon did great, but I dispise the overall business model

Hamayoon did a good job and helped me with what I needed. I have no issues with the services he provided. I do have a problem with Sears Home Services' business model. The quoted costs were not inclusive of all the services that were provided such that I felt like I was being nickeled-and-dimed. Furthermore, the pushiness to buy into the home warranty that I stated repeatedly that I did not want on the phone and while the technitians were at my home was extremely frustrating. Had I realized the whole experience would be like this, I'd have gone with another company instead.

All of your employees have been kind and professional; however, Armando was superb and FINALLY was able to resolve the repair issue after a month of frustration and conflicting statements/instructions. I loved my old Sears Protection but am very unlikely to renew my policy next cycle. You should be embarrassed with your sub par system. Customers spend far too much time trying to figure out the direction of the repair procedures and progress. I feel sorry for your employees who probably are trying to console angry customers often.

He was her about 15 minutes or less did lots of stuff on his phone had me sign on it a couple of times said it was fixed left. But disposal is still not functioning properly. Just like it was before he came. So definitely not happy with the service!

Technician not being trained properly

Aundray, was very nice and very and handled himself in a professional manner. The technician closed the ticket and no part was ordered due to him being told that they don't order parts nor scheduled the appointment for another technician to come when the parts are ordered. Now a new service ticket has to be scheduled for another technician to come out to assess the problem in which to order the part placing us in the position to have to wait longer on the part to arrive. I don't blame the tech but whoever he's being trained by. The above rating is not against Aundray but for the individual whom he received his advice from. If the technician closes a ticket, don't order the part needed, and don't schedule the appointment for a tech to come out to install the part. Then why would any technician answer a service call. Absolutely nothing was accomplished.

Disappointed with this effort so far

Technician advised that the unit need to be replaced and that he wasn't prepared to do so today. I told him that my initial request was to "replace" the unit in the first place. He acknowledged seeing that in the work order but didn't provide to me an acceptable explanation of how he could show up knowing that he didn't have a replacement unit with him. I am totally disappointed with today's experience.

I don't know how to understand this but upon Alberto's arrival he mentioned that he was called for a problem with a garbage disposal. He was guided to the garbage disposal but once he looked at it and heard the noise from it he stood up and said that they (Sears) don't service garbage disposals anymore. After some discussions back and forth trying to understand what was going on I had to show him the Sears Home Warranty summary whereafter he went back to his van and called his office and after quite a long while he came back and asked for my signature on his mobile phone/ipad. He was asked to present back up to what he needed my signature for but couldn't or refused do that so no signature. This was not the level of service I expected from Sears. Very disappointing!
