Terrible Service with no repair made
This review does not zero in on a particular technician, but our overall experience with A&E/Sears. I have never had a worse experience with any service provider ever. Contractor came out for a broken dishwasher on 8/15/23. Diagnosed the problem, ordered parts. Parts arrived 8/19/23, follow up appt made for 8/31, no one showed up. We rescheduled for 9/7, and lo and behold, when technician arrived, the wrong part had been ordered and delivered. Re-ordered parts and scheduled another appt for 9/18. To defy all common sense, when technician arrived on 9/18, he said the wrong part (!!!!) had been sent. Re-ordered, then as I was tracking the part to make yet another appt, the shipper (Sears) voided the shipment and recalled it. As it later turned out, the wrong part had been sent again.. After multiple escalations with Sears and American Homeshield, with no ordered parts and no appts scheduled, Sears offered to send the technician for the 4th time on October 6th (!!) to look at the dishwasher again and this time order the right parts. I foolishly agreed and took another day of PTO. Here comes the best part: I'm tracking the technician, two stops away, one stop away, then you're next! When I finally tracked and it said the technician is here, I went outside to.. no one! I chatted Sears right away to find out where the technician was and was told that the order had been closed as follows: "Cust Refused Repair and Refused to return parts". Really?? That was the last straw. After wasting multiple PTO days, countless minutes on the phone, escalation upon escalation, I've taken my loss, closed this request as UNRESOLVED, reported to American Homeshield and opened another work order with another contractor. Never,again.

Poor Service
Is it possible to give him a "0"? The ice maker STILL doesn't work, the freezer door no longer closes properly and he left with water running out from under the refrigerator. Check your records. We have had several technicians from your company try to fix the problem with no success. I don't know what it will take to get this resolved, but I can't recommend your company to anyone in good conscience.

Do not use A &E for your appliance repair
Today was the 3rd visit by the same repair man to fix my ice maker. Put aside having to take 3 days off from work for the repair, there is still no ice. Both parts that were ordered should have been installed at the last repair not between 2 repairs. Repair man raised his voice at myself and my husband because of our frustration that he was giving us no guarantee that the problem was fixed. Called PC Richards and said this repair man and his company A&E were no longer welcomed at our house.

No clarity on what services he was called in for
Called in for simple repair and cleanup. Not happy with the quote of 800 dollars for a 600 dollars stove range.

Chris shouldn't have a job!
Chris was at my house on August 7th to look at my sick dishwasher and did nothing. He said it works so that is all he cared about. He came on September 20 to look at my sick refrigerator. Again did nothing except he said call again within 30 days. On October 3rd a really great technician came and diagnosed it with several potential problems. Today, Chris was assigned to finally fix my fridge …showing up 2 hours earlier than the tracker predicted and said he didn't show that anyone had been at my house 3 days before!!! His comment again was "it's working and there is no problem" . I quickly threw him out of my house and Chris will never be allowed in my house again. Arrogant and lazy - and apparently does not know how to do his job. I don't recommend Sears to anyone. So this one star rating is actually a minus 5

Incorrect diagnosis done
It was suggested that the water pressure sensor was bad but it didn't fix the issue.

Incorrect diagnosis
Multiple visits were done but issue was not addressed. The appliance was just 4 year old.

Third Visit, Dishwasher Still Broken
Charles is the third Sears technician to come out to fix my dishwasher (after Daniel K and Mahmood) and much like the other two, he left without fixing my dishwasher after I already paid. However he's the first one to claim I need a plumber to fix an elbow fitting which you would think is something an appliance technician should be able to handle. Much like the others, he saw a complicated repair job and came up with whatever excuse he could think of to not do the work (Mahmood claimed he didn't have the parts he needed without telling me what part was missing, Daniel K took a quick look and said he needed parts that Mahmood claims were insufficient). I expect a full refund seeing as my dishwasher was never fixed and I'm now told Sears can't fix it. I had a different company come out and fix my dishwasher with no issues a day later. Didn't need a plumber.

Horrible tech and service
Vincent treated my parents with such rudeness and complete disrespect. He told 78 year old individuals that is unacceptable to not pull a fridge out and clean it. He then charged for the clean up, BUT he left a huge mess which involved hours of clean up.
