Sears is a ripoff
Juan did great- the diagnostic fee you charged for two separate work orders in one visit is a scam. I will not be returning.

Unsatisfactory
Mr. Sedum, seemed to be impatient, he did not wait for payment.He left before my daughter could pay. I requested someone to come to the house around 5:30pm. (To avoid difficulties with payment method. )This technician did not respond and did not give notice of the time he was coming until he was at my front door. Immediately he came in and Dx the problem without really looking at the refrigerator. He said it is my electrical outlet but that is not correct. I climbed up on my counter and reached behind the refrigerator and unplug the refrigerator and plugged it back up in the outlet above the one the refrigerator was plugged up to. I also plugged my tablet up using both outlets and received power. I don't want to accuse anyone but his Dx was not right. Something was wrong with the refrigerator not my socket.

Not good
He did not complete any work because of "spiders" in the door of the dishwasher. I called him after he left ( I was not there my daughter was) and we were having a conversation. I was confused as to why that had anything to do with the fact that he could not complete the work. He could have easily asked my daughter to knock down the web that was there. He ultimately hung up on me mid sentence. I'm highly disappointed in the fact that he used that as an excuse to not compete the work after weeks of waiting. The fact that he hung up on me is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.

Never showed up
The technician never showed up. This is the 4th time I've waited for someone. Inexcusable.

Time & dishonest
Spent all day waiting. He said one time & arrived 2 hrs later. Reported false statement about appliance. Wish I could report negative stars!!!!

Abuse claimed by tech, which is false.
Tech stated to AHS that the refrigerator failure was "abuse" and in an "non climate controlled area". The refrigerator is in my garage, which is air-conditioned (window unit clearly visible). Now AHS refusing to cover the cost. Not happy.

Problem is not fixed
The technician was polite but he did not fix the problem of pooling water.

Home Warranty Claim Not Resolved
A&E/Sears was not able to repair it on site or by ordering parts (not available). Our claim was not resolved. We were told by the technician that he would communicate his findings accordingly to Choice Home Warranty. They closed the claim, so we assume A&E/Sears dropped the ball or communicated incorrect information.

Communication was so bad that we cancelled the service
We contracted with this business through American Home Shield (AHS) to service an oven. We initially called to discuss the scheduled date of service, as we had no way to cook anything and needed a fast response. We were given 2 dates, whereby we had to stay at home from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the technician neglected to show both days. However, the timeframe of expected arrival to complete the job kept changing throughout the day...no communication from the office to notify us or ask if this would be acceptable. If given the option, we would have hired someone else to complete the job. Then, after calling American Home Shield to explain our frustration with this situation, an AHS rep ensured us that the technician would be at our house that day. This was based on an assurance from the technician's office. Immediately after I hung up the phone with AHS, the technician's office sent us a text cancelling the job for the day and rescheduling us for several days later. Again, this was after just promising that the technician would be there that day. I called AHS back and cancelled the job with this company. I called another company and we were serviced within 1 business day. I am sure that these technician's are very busy, but just as they want us to respect their time, they should do the same for their customers. No communication, long wait times to get service with no communication, no keeping the agreements they make...all signs of bad management. Please fix it! Your clients deserve better.
