Run, don't walk away from this service

My stove stopped working the middle of November. The tech came out the next day and had to order parts. Two weeks later, they come back out with wrong parts. Had to reorder again. Third time out and you guessed it, wrong parts again. Fourth time out finally got the right parts. A month and a half without a stove or oven. Thanksgiving and Christmas ruined. I was told it's hard to get parts for an "old" stove. The stove is 4 years old. Never again will I use them.

If Unpersonable was a Person

The technician that came to fix my refrigerator/ freezer was unpersonable to say the least. The immediate world that comes to mind is rude! When he initially called, I was in the middle of teaching a class and asked him to call my wife instead. That was apparently an inconvenience. When he came the first time, there was no explanation of what happened, what we can do in the meantime, dos or dont; a single comment of "I ordered the parts, sign here." I had to do all the digging to find out what was ordered, who it was shipped through, a temporary fix (borrow a friends mini fridge to keep outside). Follow up appt was scheduled for the 1st of December and by this time, I had been out of a fridge since the beginning of November. The 1st came and went, no parts arrived, the sears customer service number was a joke as their automated system made no real connection to a person or the intentions of the caller. Waited for another week, one part arrived. Called AHS to get resolve that way. No appointment could be scheduled for another week and a half and it would only be scheduled if I had both parts, which I didn't. Second part arrived, I called in and set up an appointment for the 20th of December. By this time, I was out of a fridge for almost 2 months and my wife is a caterer. The tech came and once again was short on the phone about ensuring someone was home. When he arrived, he got to work. The fridge and freezer was fixed, hence the 1 star, but his greasy handprints were left on top of a cooler in the kitchen we were using for ice. There was cloth pieces left on the floor from his blanket to put his tools on. I had to ask how to dispose of the old parts bc he just left them in a box. There was nothing to sign. And he just left without a word. I do not expect ppl to carry full on convos while working but the least anyone could do is personable to others.

Not fixed worse than it was

Today 2 days later oven began to smoke and dripping something like rust inside had to open windows and shut off quickly can't contact anyone in USA for sears just keep getting china or India ???? Will be requesting replacement oven

Tech lied

Tech arrive and said the repair would need to approved by the warranty company as the repair cost is above the approved amount. He then reported to his company that we broke the water dispenser and the warranty company would not fix it. This is totally false. All we did was change the water filter which is in the refrigerator portion. The water dispenser is in the freezer door

Incomplete maintenance

A couple hours after the technician left I went to use the dryer and it still doesn't work. I need a technician to come back out ASAP because I paid for the service with no positive results. This is truly an inconvenience.

Lazy and only want a quick buck

Came in decided that it's probably not covered because it's in the garage refrigerators can't be in the garage because it's cold and they break so more than likely it's not covered didn't look at it and then he decided to open the door and said this is too old it's probably not gonna be covered. Didn't even look at anything behind or tested anything. He bent down a little bit to look at the back because I told him . But instead shoved his camera down, take a photo and said yeah, probably not covered and he is saying the wires were chewed because there was rodent chewing on them, causing it to burn. I would like to see the photos to show that there's anything chewing on it. First blamed it since it was cold in the garage. My garage is heated. First of all I had told him we moved into the garage because when it stopped working properly, it made the food really bad smelling in the fridge. Just smells bad after the food went bad , when I saw him I already knew he didn't want to do anything. He just wanted the quick hundred dollar deductible he started making excuses at excuses about not being covered without even looking at it. He looks like a guy that would walk in and say, it's not covered just to get the quick hundred for just coming there not fair to anyone.

Repair was not tested. Repairman left

Repairman installed the part but did not test the oven, stove before he left. So far we have waited two months for repairman to come, assess and fix stove/oven. But now we must find someone ELSE to check his work. Very unhappy people here.

Poor Repair of Dishwasher

My tenant told me that the service technician adjusted something on the dishwasher and told her that if she lets the hot water run for a few minutes in the sink, the dishwasher may perform better. It has not improved the performance of the dishwasher and the tenant continues to complain to me that the dishwasher is not working any better than before the service call.

Please Just Fix It!

I have been trying to get this refrigerator fixed for over a month! It. Parts have ordered, reordered and at repair technicians have been here 6 times with different diagnoses and fixes. Today they were here placed a new manifold (?) on it and checked for leaks. Now I have water all over my kitchen! Please, fix it or have American Home Shield replace it! I gave you one star for coming out.
