Poor service!

Too long to provide repairs after service call and parts were delivered. Scheduled and then rescheduled several times. It makes you have to be waiting for repairman to come from 8-5 several days because of rescheduling after you have waited. Very frustrating! I do not recommend to others! Only took about an hour to replace the parts and get our microwave convection oven working once they got here. The problem was just getting them here. If you are unable to get to the customer sooner than mine (one month) , I do not believe you should take the job!

No show no fix

Worst experience ever with a company. Our problem was initially diagnosed on July 16 where a diagnosis was made that needed parts ordered. The technician ordered the parts and stated they would be sent to his home and stated he would be back on July 31, 2024 to complete the job. A text message was received with the appointment details. On that date no one showed up no communication from anyone at sears. I called in and another appointment was scheduled for August 19, 2024 again no show no communication. I called again and was assured that someone would be out to fix it on 8/27/2024. Again no one came and no communication. I tried calling in again and someone closed my job out without ever coming to my house or fixing my dryer. I had to call to reopen my claim and a the original technician finally showed up again on 8/28/24 without any of the parts that he had originally ordered, had no clue what was wrong with my dryer in the first place and left with out replacing any of the parts he had originally ordered. He said that the dryer now works because it was unplugged and plugged back in (it was unplugged to unstack the dryer per his request). The original problem that was reported stated that the dryer will intermittently work but will not dry and gives an error code. I would like to know where the parts are that were order for the problem that did present it self on the very first visit?

Fridge doesn't power on!

Came to repair the fridge. Claimed to replace parts. Never plugged it back in to see if it worked. Told us to leave IT unplugged to defrost. We'll it's all melted and we plugged it back in. NO POWER TO THE FRIDGE. CONTACTED SEARS AND THEY DONT WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE AT HAND! TERRIBLE SERVICE! FRIDGE MORE BROKEN THAN IT WAS ORIGINALLY!

Didn't fix problem

Technician didn't fix the problem and my mom, owner of the range he was working on, was told that I, her daughter, would be contacted about a solution, whether repair or replacement, and today has been two weeks and no one has contacted me. The emails I received after he was at my mom's house make it sound like the job was completed and the problem fixed. It was not and my mom told him that it wasn't working correctly. Unacceptable!

Ice maker not making ice

Refrigerator repair for 3089 Alderbrook

When I set up appointments through choice home warranty, I always request for any repair service other than Sears. Over the last several years, I have had horrible service. For the most part, they leave the residence and have not repaired the issue and will generally need to come back another time. They always say they need to get approval first. The problem is that other appliance repair companies always fix at their first visit. I believe that this is a scam that sears does so that they can charge for an additional visit. I have very little confidence and their ability to fix issues that arise. I tried to cancel this appointment, but was not able to do it because of the short notice. In this case, the repair was minor and they did fix it… But I still plan on requesting other companies. To be clear… the one star is not rating the technician today…. But in Sears overall performance.

The stove is still not working right. He was told it needed replacement and he said he didn't know anything and out the order! Horrible communication and follow through. The stove won't turn off and is blaring hot. He won't answer the phone.
