Tech never showed up to scheduled appointment
My tech never showed up to his appointment today & once again this process of fixing my refrigerator is taking a ridiculous amount of time to fix. Very disappointed in all of this process..

Don't use Sears Home Service
I lost count how many times I have had a technician out for a simple door replacement. Several times it was a no call no show. Never did a tech show up between the 8-5 time frame. Didn't order the part, ordered the wrong part, finally after two months I get the "right part". The part was a door. The wrong one was black and I have stainless. Once I got the stainless, I set the appointment. On the day of the appointment about two hours after the 5pm time frame, I got a text message with someone else's house and a note saying they knocked and called and I didn't answer. That house was 15 minutes away from where I live and the tech had been to my house several times before. So what did I do, I rescheduled and waited another month, this time the day came and went and when I called they said the service was closed on the previous appointment and no new appointment was confirmed, even though I had a confirmation text. By this time my extended warranty was expired and I had to fight to get him back out. He comes and tells me the door is the wrong one. So now I'm doing the install myself. Don't, I repeat don't ever use this company!!!

Gilbert is a 5 Star / SEARS NOT SO MUCH
The tech Gilbert is Great and very thorough! The rest of the experience is not so good. When I confirm by text the system does not compute the number 1 to confirm the appointment. When calling CS (the phone number that I was given for warranty) the system does not recognize my phone number and CS can not pull up my account until they transfer me several time. I originally had an appointment for Dec 12 but then I received an email stated it was rescheduled to Dec 11. No problem there , I made arrangements to be home. So when the tech gets out to my house and he only has a WO to install an ice bin ,(I did that I did myself). The WO for the repair of the icemaker and valve was scheduled for Dec 12. I called CS to see if they can move the so over to Dec 11 instead since he was there. They told me that they can not change the w/o date for the tech. I asked for a supervisor, and the person I spoke to stated that she was the supervisor and there is no one higher than her. I really don't understand why my appointments were divided into 2 days and I was never told about the Dec 12 again after the reschedule email I received. I do believe the line of communication needs to get better in order to operate more efficiently for the company and customers.

Repair of my refrigerator
The experience has been horrific! First, Sears emailed me on the first date of repair (12/2/24) at 4:35 PM and informed me that he would not be coming. The repair date was moved a week to 12/9/24. I got a call from the technician on 12/9 that his truck broke down and he would not be making it. The service date was moved to 12/10/24. Once again, the technician did not show up. On 12/11/24, I got an email with a receipt for work done. THERE WAS NO WORK DONE! I am amazed at how poorly this was handled.

Refridgerator repair
Sears Home service is terrible. I had water on my floor and in the inside of my refrigerator for weeks and they counseled five times at the end of the day each time. I would never recommend Sears to anyone. I do childcare and all of the milk and the children's food spoiled, so I ended up purchasing a new refridgerator. Very dissatisfied customer.

Frigidaire fridge
Since the beginning of September we have been experiencing the same breakdown with the fridge. The controls are not maintaining the setting, the fridge begins to lose cooling and subsequently food spoils and has to be thrown out. We have had two replacements of the same part. Robert is great but the last appointment he did not make it to the appointment because it had gotten very late in the evening after waiting all day . It is really difficult to wait all day for the technician to come into the night. At this point it is possible that there is no long term fix to this fridge, and we have to replace it.

Terrible. Never use Sears
1) this place automatically forwards to google which prevents you from leaving an actual review. Worthless. I had to frantically hit the stop button so it wouldn't skip this review page 2) OZie did NOT fix my fridge. He replaced 2 parts I apparently didn't need to replace as my fridge is doing the EXACT same thing (blowing warm air) 3) Service department would NOT send him back, or anyone back. I will never use Sears again. I feel I have wasted my money. and I have a non-working fridge. 4) Awaiting a new repair person and waiting another day.

Refrigerator repair
I understand he said he came to my home and repaired my refrigerator. If he claimed to have made my repair, HE LIED!!! He never showed up after I rearranged my calendar to be here for an 8 to 5 appointment, emptied my refrigerator, and waited all day for him to NOT SHOW UP!!! I got a notification that he had made the repair and another with a bill for the work he DIDN't DO! Poor service!
