The worst experience I have ever had in repair. Not this guy's fault. But a failure to order parts (ordered, but failed to find where they were sent) , cancel appointments via text (at the end of the time window), all the while patronizing me and disregarding my time. I called my home warranty to find another provider to service my refrigerator freezer. I've NEVER had such poor service from a Company. I hope I never have to deal with this company again.

Not the best attitude

Peter got the job done. However when asked to move his truck. He refused. When asked to remove his shoes he was reluctant. This isn't your home or neighborhood it's not a hard task to respect someone's space.

They don't give you the option for ZERO stars or that would be my rating. Sears Home Services is a joke. We are beginning legal action against them next week. They are the worst service of any kind I have ever had in my 47 years on this planet. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER sign up for any warranty that they offer!

After explaining that the tech needed to show up to the MI address, not the OH billing address, they went to the billing address. Now I need to work around the tech schedule once again.

STEVE FULLY AND TOTALLY FAILED TO EXPAIN TO WARRANRY COMPANY THE LH SEAL ON MY FRIDGE WAS NOT TORN BUT WORN FROM NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. STEVE FULLY FAILED TO PROPRLY EXPAIN TOTALLY NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR OF FAILED WIRE ON MOULTON HEAT ELEMENT TO WARRANTY COMPANY STEVE FAILED TO EXPALN THE RH SEAL HAS THE SAME NORMALLY WORN PARTS EXCESSIVELY THIN FROM 'NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR" HAD STEVE CLEARLY EXPAIND THIS MY CLAIM WOULD BE COVERED YOUR POOR EXPLANION CAUSED WARRANRY COMPLY TO SAY MY FRIG HAS SUFFED PHYSICAL DMG NOT FROM NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR!!! AND YOU CHARGES ME 130.00 FOR THIS !!! HORRIBLE SERVICE AS I AM A CETIFIED TECH AND I KNOW BETTER !!!!

Not impressive

This repair man was not the nicest person. He tried to run my husband out of our driveway when he was leaving and told him to shut up when my husband told him if he would give him a minute he would move out of his way. Didnt even listen to me when i told him that my freezer has not worked since i plugged it in. Seemed very judgemental of my living situation (not everyone can afford a nice home) and wasn't the friendliest. My daughter said hi to him like 5 times and he straight up ignored her! When you send technicians to people homes, try to make sure these people are non judgemental and NICE! I don't know if that guy was just having a bad day or what, but regardless he shouldn't have been the way he was.

After waiting 2 months, refrigerator still not fixed!

I called the warranty company on 3/3/25 to tell them that my refrigerator that is only 18 months old was not cooling. They sent AJ Sales Enterprises to repair on 3/10. They identified the problem but said their service does not do that kind of repair. The warranty company sent a different repair service on 3/17. He said he would order the parts to be delivered directly to me and come on 4/15 to install. I got AI generated texts almost daily for several days prior to 4/15 including one at 7 am on 4/15 saying repairman was coming between 8-5 on 4/15. Then at 10 am on 4/15 I got a text that he was not coming and gave me choices of 3 dates/times. Even though I had plans for all 3 days, I chose yesterday, 4/28, cancelled my other plans for that day and waited around all day. Then got an AI text saying he couldn't come and gave me 3 choices of other dates. I chose today, 4/29, even though both my husband and I had other plans which could not be changed because I wanted my fridge fixed. So we put the refrigerator and parts outside so he could repair it. He texted me after he arrived around 1:45 pm and said the parts the company sent, which he ordered, didn't fit. He said that "he recommended I get ahold of the warranty company to replace the freezer or get a hold of another company to repair as evidently they do not have the right parts kit to put this in." What if this was my only refrigerator? If it were you, how would you like to wait more than 2 months to get your refrigerator repaired and still not have it repaired?

Disappointing experience

Sears Home Services was engaged by my HomeServe account to come take a look at my dishwasher in early April of this year - 2025. I was rescheduled four times and then completely no-showed the fifth. The reasons were: -No part available so it had to be ordered and appt r/s -Technician was not going to make it within the time window allotted and said it was a 2 hour job - appt r/s to next day -My appt was r/s from the previous automatically to the day after at a time which did not work for me -When I received a call from the technician I asked to please give me an hour - he said we would have to r/s -The final reschedule (04/24/25) - no call, no voicemail, no text and the technician completely no-showed me. I found out as I received an e-mail saying that the order was closed. I double checked with my front-desk in my condo building and they confirmed nobody ever came to inquire at the front desk either. I never received a phone call any of these mornings by a rep or a technician to let me know they were coming even though that is what I was told would happen. It is absolutely impossible to get a hold of a live person over the phone or on chat since everything is automated. Very disappointing experience considering the multitude of days I have taken off from work to accommodate this.

Technician showed up did not have part which was requested in the notes. Stated he had known way of ordering the part , it was pointless of him showing up as we still have an issue .. poor customer service acted like he didn't want to be here.
