No test not very happy to hv taken this job that wasn't his

Came in kinda grumpy, mentioned he doesn't like taking work or following up on other guys work. The last guy was super nice and knowledgeable kept explaining what he was doing and why he ordered the parts he did. Last guy also mentioned he would install a new flap for our dishwasher we had prev ordered. This guy finished up his job today didn't test the dishwasher was obviously irritated about working Saturday and left. Tried to run the dishwasher after and now says door is not closed. He just replaced a door latch and our main issue was the dishwasher was leaking. The fact that he didn't test and then when he replaced the door guard said he did it for no reason. Only for me to double check it as I wasn't sure he had tested it before he left and realizing it won't run due to the door not closing! We called him back but no answer. Now we have to go back through and place another repair request and wait on a day they have available then one of us will have to be available 8a-3p….he mentioned wasting time on a door guard replacement but now he is not only wasting our time but another repairman's time for something that should've been done today.

Poor Professionalism and Very Poor Customer Service

The technician visited my home for the first time in December 2025 in the afternoon. I understand that he may have been in a hurry, but he left a screw loose, which caused the freezer cover to come off. Additionally, he did not provide me with a copy of the estimate, which I was entitled to since I paid for the service. Trying to contact him afterward was extremely frustrating. Sears' customer service is one of the worst I have experienced, as it relies heavily on artificial intelligence with no clear options to speak with a real person or properly explain the issue. The lack of clear communication made resolving this problem unnecessarily difficult. After several attempts, the technician eventually returned to my home, reattached the freezer cover, secured the screw correctly, and finally provided the copy of the estimate. Overall, the lack of professionalism and the poor customer service experience were very disappointing. Because of this, I would not purchase appliances from Sears again, and I would not recommend this service to my family or friends.

Poor Customer Service

This entire process of scheduling a warranty repair is ridiculous considering they give you a window from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and do their best to keep you from talking to an actual person. Then they provide an updated ETA, which is where Trent was 40 minutes late and only gave me 1 minute to answer the door before he decided to submit that the customer was not home and leave. The picture that he posted to show as proof that he was at my house included my vehicle in the driveway and my garage door open, which is where the refrigerator he was supposed to work on was located. He would know this, because he was just at my house 1 week prior to diagnose the issue and order the repair parts. It was utterly ridiculous that he did not call me before leaving, and that I could not reach an actual person in order to have them contact Trent to have him turnaround.

Don't believe gaslighting

He lied to us when he said stacked washers and dryers were going for $700. We might have had our unit repaired if we knew we would be spending $1500 instead

Incorrectly closed my ticket

He closed my ticket stating that everything was working fine. This is not factual. There still is no lighting in either my refrigerator side or my freezer. He had been replacing parts for months and couldn't fix it. He told he recommended a replacement but then closed my ticket as resolving the issue.

Horrible

Glenn came and said the issue was with the circuit being GFCI before he even looked at the fridge. Had to insist he check at least the compressor, he only checked that. After he left I tried plugging the fridge into a different Gfci outlet and it didn't not trip.
