Sears appliance protection plan Scam
Technician/company staff failed to honor the appliance replacement plan although no technician or lead technician has been able to repair my refrigerator after approximately 10 attempts within 18 months. Every technician has failed has repair my refrigerator and yet, refuses to request a replacement. They are rerunning a scam. They charged me for 3 $100 deductible although they have been repairing the same refrigerator problem. Due to not repairing the refrigerator, it had leaked numerous times causing damage to my floor tile. Lead technician Kevin failed to replace all parts that the previous technician reported being a problem. One day after Kevin and another technician claimed that they fixed the problem, the refrigerator malfunctioned once again. Therefore, their attempt to repair the same problem with my refrigerator was another failure due to the same reoccurring problem. Although they haven't been able to repair the refrigerator, they have continuously refused honor the replacement agreement.

No communication
Service technician seem to be fairly knowledgeable. However, there's sketchy or no communication as to when they're coming or if the parts are going to be delivered to the home or to the shop and then they bring them. Waited two days hoping they were coming and when they did show up, I was not notified. I'm not criticizing the technician. I'm criticizing the AI portion of the business. Not being able to deal with a human being is something I'm not going to ever get used to..

Never Again!
Richard was a nice enough man, but instead of fixing my water filter that wouldn't pop out for removal, he put in another one that won't pop out and said I'll have to call them back every time I want to replace another filter! Didn't have spare parts for my unit, despite having given the model and brand to them when I filed the claim. So when he showed up to diagnose the problem he ordered parts, which came the next day but he didn't return for over a week, only to put the new receptacle in and give me the news that I would not be able to just install a new one myself. He tried to blame it on the fact that I didn't use OEM parts. Overall a terrible experience and it has not yet been rectified, over two weeks later now! Stay FAR FAR away from Sears Home Services!

service on dish washer
All he did was tell me I needed to take apart my machine and clean it. This is not the only issue and the mechanical issues were not resolved.

This representative never showed up for the appointment. The rep even produced a fake signature for the appointment. This is very disturbing and shows a lack of customer service and support.

Tom actually did not come to my apartment
My repair appointment has been rescheduled for an earlier date which was great. However when Tom contacted me that he was on his way and confirmed the address, there was not an apartment listed. So he informed me he could not come because of that. When I asked why he could not just add the apartment to the address he became irate and told me if I was going to question him I should be careful as he was the only repair person for the area. When I called the Claims number I was told that the apartment number was on the claim and that they would contact me to see if it was possible to get another repair person. Finally the next day I received an email stating that the fridge had been deemed irreparable and I would receive a refund.

Terrible Service
The tech did nothing to clean up the mess he made. Water was all in the base of the cabinet under the sink. Dishwasher hose was left on our front lawn for us to throw away. When I reached out to him, his phone went to voice mail. It's been over 5 hours since he left and he has not returned our call.
