Nice Tech, but didn't fix the problem
The tech replaced the part in question but there is now another problem. The drum is making a very bad rubbing noise and catching clothes in a gap between the drum and the front plate.

The service by the tech was ok. He did not replace the part that was identified as potential issue during remote diagnostic session. He replaced another part and my problem still exists after 3 different people have attempted to fix the issue.

Matthew did a great job! However, Sears home repair has terrible customer service. They schedule a 8-5 window, expecting someone to be there and cancel multiple times. Sears cancelled my appointments 3 times in one week and numerous other times as well. And it is not possible to speak to a human on the phone.

Diagnosis was way too general. Not specific. Estimated cost of repair exceeded cost of replacement. I feel he stated everything that could potentially be wrong. Instead of making a true diagnosis. I could get the same info if I googled it.

Justin did a good job fixing the problem as diagnosed by another technician. But the service and responsiveness leading up to the service was horrendous. By using another technician all Justin could do was install the part. However, with the lack of communication and the inability to talk to a real person, my $750 was a complete waste of money. I still have a fridge that does not work and at best dispenses a few pieces of ice here and there, and again I can't talk to a real person to get it fixed under the 30-day warranty.

Jose was professional and had the ice coming out of the door when he left. I have given him three stars only because adjustment he made did not last and I still have a broken ice delivery system. He explained what the glitch was and told me that I could reach up to clear the flap or door the ice comes through if it happened again. The ice cube and crush function in the freezer door has stopped working. I have reached up as Jose explained and I can feel the flap being open. I can see through it yet the cubes do not come through. I don't have a buildup of ice. It's all clean and it would appear that what we called for in the first place has not been fixed.

Took a lightbulb out of one of my lamps and put it in refrigerator. Charged extra for that even though website informed me that if he did something, trip charge would be waived.

Had a 8-12am appointment window. He showed up at 1:30pm. When he did arrive he had the job done quickly. Just book the afternoon window and you'll be good.
