AVOID Sears Home Services

This is the fourth time we have scheduled with Sears Home Services to come fix our dryer. The first time the technician came and cleaned the lint filter and said it's all set and left, though he did not fix the problem. The second time Sears called us 2 hours into our scheduled 4 hour appointment window and said the technician was sick. The third time the technician said they knocked on our door but they did not come to our house nor even our street. And this, the fourth attempt over the course of now 8 weeks, the technician did not show up, and yet here they are asking for a review even though no one came to our house to do the work they were scheduled to do. In addition, I see a fake signature on a work order that they submitted for payment. Due to the fake work order and FAKE SIGNATURE, I have to assume that someone is scamming someone else at this point. This is the current state of Sears Home Services, so while it is sad that Sears has gotten to this point, it's in everyone's best interest to avoid them and their services.

Bunch of crap. Still refusing to work on it since it not hooked up but they took it apart not hooked up. Sears is getting worse than ever on customer support

The range was taken apart and now I was informed that they can't work on the range if it's not hooked up. They took it apart in my garage and it was not hooked up. Some parts were deliver and now I have a range that doesn't work at all. Original issue was the probe

Never showed up

I had an appointment On July 3. The tech never showed but closed the appointment as if he came … I was also told from the last appointment that he could not fix it due to the whole tub being broke but the notes stated that he couldn't get the screw out .Thats unprofessional to tell me one thing but input notes about something else ! It's also unprofessional to close an work order as if he came and he didn't!

Fake appointments

Extremely Poor Service

After waiting over 2 months for your serviceman Jose to show up and attempt to fix this "Brand New Machine", which was delivered and installed in November 2023, the machine still isn't working. He was able to replace the machine's pump, which is now apparently working. However, it would appear he disabled or broke something else in the machine whilst replacing the pump, rendering it inoperable as a clothes washer. After trying to run the machine, He packed up his tools to leave and told us to wait 2 hours so a 'board' would reset. Then we should run the machine. In following these instructions after 2 hours, on several wash cycle selections, eventually (not right away) water filled the machine. However, it did not engage any washing cycle action, and then minutes later pumped the water out of the machine. It repeated filling the machine in what we'd presume was then the rinse cycle, and a few minutes later again pumped the water out completely, never engaging rinse cycle or any agitation activity. Jose was obviously by this time well on his way to other appointments, not reachable, leaving us "High and Dry" with a broken machine. The earliest one of your supervisors, Aldin Brock, rescheduled an appointment is July 3, 2024, or 3 more weeks of waiting. Our guess is that on July 3rd someone will hopefully show up, perhaps Jose, to attempt to fix this "New Broken Machine", and low and behold more parts will need to be ordered to fix the new problem caused during the failed attempt on June 12th to fix the machine, further delaying the repair another 2-4 weeks, or possibly longer? We think, at this point, someone in a responsible managerial or executive position should give this immediate attention. We're also due to renew our master protection agreement. Considering the lack of proper service provided, We have little incentive. What ever happened to Sears' long-time promise, "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back!"

Sears service dismissal

Been a Sears master protection agreement customer for over 30 years. My parents have been over 50 years. We will no longer support Sears because Sears no longer honor their agreement.

Not fixed!

Ethan told me to only use timed cycle on dryer, not use the sensors cycles because Sears doesn't like to replace them. The dryer gets so hot you can't touch it or the clothes. The dryer would shut off when the load is dry now it keeps going until I check it then turn it off. This is unacceptable I'm worried about a fire!! The dryer is only 5 years old. I paid for the warranty to keep it in good working order for full use not partial use.

Julian was very nice and respectful. However he seemed out of his element! He did not properly take apart the washer. I related to him how in the past I had a service technician scratch up my Appliance. So I don't know if that made him nervous because I was watching him. But he didn't take all the screws out of the front of the washer. Which caused him to pry the front off damaging the face. There are no visible scratches from the outside. But it was not taking apart correctly. I also think that if I wasn't there. He would not have been able to dismantle it by himself. He did find and fix the problem. I believe the company should provide manuals for dismantling washers and dryers it didn't seem like he knew how to take an Electrolux apart your website says you have Factory trained technicians with average of 10 years experience. Julian said he had been on the job for a year. Maybe he just needs more experience
