Lawn tractor failure
I have waited 5 months to have my lawn tractor repaired. I have had numerous transmission failures and Sears continues to attempt to "repair". It takes months to get parts, then they don't fit or fix the problem. I have called numerous times to try and get someone to come out again and the "system" is down. I would never recommend Sears to anyone I care about.

Not experience with Lawrence
I had a Sears technician come out to service my craftsman lawnmower to put mulching blades & a belt replacement well he put regular blades & a used belt & charged me for what he didn't put on once I found out about it I was very disappointed in his service for him to ever think I wouldn't have known the difference.

I was expecting you were a garage door service that could fix a garage door not just to come out and try to diagnose the problem and not be able to fix it! Going to contact the Better Business Bureau on this one!

No longer your father's Sears
I have a warranty that I paid for on my Sears Craftsman lawn tractor. I need a lawn tractor because a have a 1 acre lawn in Florida. On July 12 I called Sears because the drive belt broke. Today is November 15 and the Sears technician finally got it running. So I was without a lawn tractor for 112 days. And there was nothing I could do about it. Sears keeps trying to sell me a home appliance warranty. Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! I can just picture being without home air conditioning for 3 1/2 months waiting for them to find parts or being too busy to get to me. It is no wonder that Sears is going belly up. You cannot treat your customers like this and expect them to come back. I challenge you to come up with a good excuse for them to take 3 1/2 MONTHS to fix a lawn tractor. -Fed Up Customer

Service on a Craftsman T 1000
I called Sears I ordered to have alternator and a oil change with filter Replaced on a lawn mower the technician showed up did not have an alternator was having trouble ordering alternator because we didn't have the book that went with the lawn mower I didn't want to reschedule because it to inconvenience.

4 visits.. 5 weeks.. more and more money.. new problems.. more parts needed.. once it ran the transmission went out 2 weeks later.. sad since i had that repair done not 2 years ago.. my nick name at Sears must be the golden calf... thanks for nothing and wasting my time.. now to junk this lump in my shed.

Not a good one. Tech said everything was repaired, working fine. Told me to leave the mower running for half hour to charge the battery. I decided instead of just letting the mower just run, I would cut the grass. I do not use the pedal to keep the mower running so was not sure how to release it. I turned the mower off to figure it out and so I would not get injured. The mower will not start and I have to have another appointment. I waited a month for this appointment and my grass is getting high. Yes it was running when he left but a low battery should not keep it from starting. Very disappointing.
