Replace part on oven of gas range.
Ralph and trainee were very friendly - introduced themselves immediately. Asked a few questions and then proceeded to install part that had been ordered& received. Showed me how to remove attached lower shelf. Checked calibration of new part and finished job. Felt comfortable with work done. Ralph explained to trainee what to do and let him learn by doing as instructed. Good job!

The gas range repair by Mr. Jawid was excellently completed. He tested the unit and diagnosed the problem. The oven's ignitor had failed. He then ably and expertly replaced the part. Furthermore, he tested the range top and made minor adjustments to the burners. Thank you, Sears Home Services, for employing Jawid. He is a valuable asset to the business. He was great about telling me about the stove and oven age and what I should be aware of and look for. He serviced the appliances and made me more comfortable about how to use them.

The technician, Jim, contacted me before he arrived. He worked on the issue and found that it was not an issue with the cooktop itself but with the electrical circuit that supplied the power for the cooktop and that we needed to have an electrician come out. He demonstrated that it wasn't the cooktop by plugging the cooktop into another socket and the cooktop worked as it should. Jim was polite and very professional. He arrived on the date of service and within the time period slated.
