Cook stove definitely dangerous

This cookstove has definite problems that could cause electricial fatality. It spews electricity out of the knobs. The technician checked the stove and found nothing wrong. I don't trust that. I believe the technician had only the normal basic procedures to check the stove, but did not have the ability to extend the testing to find any underlying problems beyond the basic testing.

It was terrible, she didn't fix it. She messed it up so it wouldn't even come on when she left. I had to go buy a new cook top.

Insurance claim repair

The technician could not repair, or replace a worn and broken blower switch. The old knob to the blower switch cracked off as a result of normal wear . The insurance company denied the claim because it wasn't determined to be "wear and tear". Also I was required to pay a deductible for no repair and no insurance compensation. The technician gave no information other than the cooktop could not be repaired. Extremely disappointed and will be appealing the insurance claim denial with Home warranty company as well as the Jane Lee with Remax. I paid a deductible to your company for no repair or compensation.

The first time Robert came to repair my oven I had to pull the oven away from the wall, show him where the gas shut off was, and tell him that he needed a tool to turn it on. The next time Robert came to finish the repair he asked to use my bathroom. I thought said yes but I was annoyed about it. Robert found some type of rodent nest in the oven when he took it apart. He didn't have a shop vac so he asked if he could use my vacuum. I just moved in and had never used the oven because the two times I turned it on it smelled like gas. That's why the CO company had turned it off. I'm not a happy customer

Gary showed up at my home as I was preparing to leave for work on nightshift. He was angry when I told him I was leaving. The home warranty company rescheduled me two days early without my knowledge and approval. I had taken off work so I would be home for the prescheduled appointment. He angrily told me I wasn't answering my phone, that the number was wrong. I sleep days. I had an 18 hr day the day before and came straight home to sleep to do it all over today. I understand his aggravation, but I was equally frustrated by the unconfirmed appointment 24 hours ahead. HIs attitude was poor and unprofessional.

Cook top visit

Marc did not do his job, he came to my home and he totally neglected my inquiries. Marc kept emphasizing the fan being the issue on my cook top. I kindly reiterated to Marc the entire cook top is the issue, it sparks and smokes we had to cut off the power so that it wouldn't cause an electrical fire. Marc seem as if he didn't want to replace the parts that the other representative ordered. I haven't been able to use the cook top since June. Sears has been Givin me the run around. Errol Smith (regional) hung up on me when he tried to disqualify my claim based on what Marc told him. This is a racket, I paid for a Master Plan Protection. Now both cooktop and oven are not working.
