Tech lied, warranty died

Tech lied about there being an "infestation" causing a malfunction in my stovetop. Stove is clean and was clear when he opened it. Just a scam to cancel the warranty. Hope he sleeps well at night.

Disappointed for lack of effort.

This technician came to do the service twice for the same problem looking for the easy way out each time. The first time he collected the deductible and just reset the error code only to have it come up again after he left. The second time he did not even reset the code. I told him to replace the part associated with the code, the code indicated "Keypad is disconnected" instead he said he needed to go to his truck to talk to my insurance. He ended up leaving saying he did not know what part to replace because he did not know the serial number of the unit. He never once pulled out a tool or even tried to be proactive to solve the issue.

Stunningly bad service and result and terrible customer service. Three visits and company told technician to give up when faced with a screw that could not be removed. Wasted 6 weeks and many hours of my time. Impossible to reach a customer service person to verify appointments. A once reputable company that is now unusable. Does not deserve one star.

This involved replacing a panel on my oven/stove, and that was well done; however, the transparent cover that was replaced now has white strikes and blobs under it that I cannot remove. A new cover needs to be ordered, installed and looked at before considering the job finished.

Technician could not fix a cooktop after SEARs made three attempts ordered parts and caused damage to my cooktop in a prior visit.

Rejected the appointment with this technician as a bad experience last week with him. Refer my earlier feedback. I didn't allow him to enter into the home, but I got email update saying installation completed!!!. I don't know why Sears has been scheduled appointment with the same guy. Reschedule appointment with different technician who is expertise to handle the issue. I would have given negative stars if it allows.
