This poor gentleman was sent tomy house for no reason. The GE profile induction cooktop I purchased from Sears has been "repaired" 9 times, despite several requests to have it replaced. Finally it has been decided to replace it. The paperwork was supposedly filed and active but then Hamayoon shows up to "repair" my unit. Fortunately he had been here before and confirmed the need for replacement. That was Nov 29th. I have been without a cooktop since oct 18th and still no replacement. Today is Nov 8th. What do you think?

Buyer beware

Employee fixed the issue with gas cooktop within 30 minutes of arriving. No problems with that part. Then told to "SIGN at the X" on his phone. Told to "sign at the 2nd X", again, without discussion. Not told exactly what I was agreeing to with my Signature. Asked employee "What are my told charges for your work today?" Verbally told one amount and electronically invoice/receipt emailed at a much higher amount. Called employee immediately after he left residence and several other times. Employee did not return any of my phone calls. I will never ever use Sears Home Services for in home repairs of our appliances.

Did not show up

The technician did not contact us and did not show up for the repair. This is the 4th time trying to get this repaired. After the second attempt, the technician caused a gas leak that was not present before. I want a call from a service agent.

He says because I could not operate the controls correctly when I waw showing him what was wrong which I wasn't cooking. I was just showing him anyway. He said we can't take my word for it. That its overheating, so too bad so sad. Guess, my house can burn down. I paid seventy five dollars to be treated like scum and nothing was done to fix my oven. I guess I will try to video for the next technician. That's coming out.

Technician told us to provide the serial number I did he said he needs to verify he didn't want to open the cooktop to verify

Not pleased at all. Carlos is kind, but I need my range fixed. And another part that was working is broken by your technician that's no longer with your company , Dylan as I can remember. I can understnd why he's no longer emplloyed with SEARS, and I am being held responsible for him breaking my front right burner , when nothing was wrong with it. SEARS needs to fix the burner that your employee at the last visit to my home broke. And Carlos noted that all off thr screws when he opened under thr hood were not there . Dylan lef my range in the middle of the floor and I and my husband are disabled , so I had to get a friend to push it back. Grieving

Poor Performance/service

I had a bad experience with this technician. It took him more than a month to order one part that was needed. Attitude was also not that great and no clear answers given. I wouldn't recommend this service.

Technician showed up. Installed 2 of the 4 parts waited nearly 2 months for, then left with the parts and the oven doing having the same issue (which was won't return to temp after door is opened for checking, basting, turning, etc.). Very poor job. Thanks, Greg

Replacement of nonworking burner switch on stove top.

A couple of days after he did that the whole stove started malfunctioning. If you turned one switch on , two burners would go on and then if you turned another switch on, it would trip the breaker the whole stove would have no power. So obviously he messed up the wiring in someway.
