Electric cooktop burner replaced.
Jacob is very pleasant young man, was very organized in taking parts off and replacing them in correct order. He did ask if another box for an electric harness had been ordered. I advised I did not know, that had only received the one box. After he left, I used the new front burner and discovered that it operates only on high, no matter which setting is used. This will need to be fixed. I will keep the old part for verification.

Conrad was great and professional, he did the work on my stove and was gone, thank you. The only thing that bothers me is that it would be better to get updates by text, not Email because in my world, the flip phone does not work for Email and if I'm not home, how do I know if changes are made, the time I was given is 8am to 5pm, for a 30 minuet job, I need to be at work so not having to take off a whole day is much better, but a great job, thank you!!!

We are very happy with our new stove top. There should be better communication with appointments. We were canceled 4 times and waited four weeks for our stove to be fixed. This is unacceptable. It was also unclear where the parts were delivered. We would love to stay with Sears but are questioning if we should move forward with Sears. Any help will be appreciated

We called Sears for our cook top and they came with on one day and gave us the diagnosis. The part was ordered and sent to our home then the following week we had Christopher and Alberto come to change the part. They were very professional and in no time our cook top was fixed.

The repair person called in the morning to say that he was overbooked and had to change my morning appointment to the afternoon. He showed up a little after 3 p.m. Pros: -He communicated the change and his arrival time effectively -He was cordial -He did his job (replaced the stovetop) Cons: -I had to change my schedule due to the overbooking situation -It would be nice for the company to have the service repair person take the old stove top and the box with them because it is a large item and hard to dispose in a regular household trashcan.
