Aborted repair service
Our technician arrived on time and started by trying to locate the serial number of our stove. He was not able to read the needed information as it was not legible. He informed me that without that information, Sears's policy would not allow him to work on any appliance. Therefore, the needed repairs could not be completed and nothing further could be accomplished. He was courteous and a bit apologetic that the situation had developed in this fashion.
