I recently had a technician visit yo repair my furnace. He was very professional and gave explanations in detail to us. My understanding from his visit tge repairs he made were related to my thermostat. We had a new furnace installed in Nov 2022. It was under warranty through Sears Home Warranty. My understanding is tgst the previous technicians had installed my thermostat as a heat pump and I have a high efficiency gas furnace. This was the cause of my current problem. I feel I should be reimbursed for the 100.00 fee for a service call. I appreciate the time and consideration of this. Thanks

Cesar was terrific. He was on time (even a bit early). He was friendly and taught me a lot about my furnace. I felt comforted by the fact that the air quality from my furnace was excellent despite my furnace's 30+ age. He helped me figure out what filter to buy AND showed me how to install it when I receive it. I hope Cesar is my tech for next year's service. I plan to make this an annual thing.
