NO TX DUCTING LICENSE. CAME TO HOME ANYWAY. SCAM ALERT.

Choice home warranty and Sears services are scams. Unable to speak to anyone at choice home warranty and Sears it's AI only and you can't find a rep if you try for 10 hours. I had a ducting issue. Ducting separated and the 12" diameter tube blew around and beat itself up. Sears is NOT QUALIFIED for ducting. Choice sent Sears. Kyle called 30 minutes prior. I told him all rooms are ice boxes a/c working perfectly but there is separated ducting. Kyle said he and SEARS are NOT DUCT LICENSED. He said he just needs to come and collect $75 and this will apply to the ducting company deductible also. He arrived with his tech bag at the door. I asked are you going to fix ducting? He said no this is how it's done. I said I'll just pay the $75 deductible and send the ducting company. He said this happens all the time he needed to come in. I let him in, he moved around the duct work now it's blowing cold in the attic. It wasn't before. He's not even qualified to mess with ducting. He sat outside for 40 minutes then he sent a bill $245. I went out and asked what's going on TWICE. It was very odd. He drove away the minute choice home warranty said it's not covered LOL. Avoid SEARS SERVICE & CHOICE HOME WARRANTY I'm in Fort Worth. Both scams. Both AI only. You will say AIR CONDITIONER NOT BLOWING IN 2 ROOMS. Ai will list you as "air conditioner" and you won't get a chance to speak with anyone to clarify. The Choice process states: tech gives an estimate. LOL Kyle just came in to do ZERO WORK and he was NOT QUALIFIED and he sends a bill for hundreds. Reporting to TX licensing. Absolute scam avoid at all cost.

Bad service bad communication

This tech finish his diagnosis, called my warranty company got a refusal and sat in the driveway for 45 minutes without telling me anything or giving me an estimate to repair it. Also, he initialed stating I had seen the document which I had not because he never came back so now I'm gonna have to pay someone to come out and give me an estimate to repair it because this guy couldn't be bothered. He was also wrong about a valve missing. It certainly is there.

Service first words out his mouth was I know this is recalled but I don't want to get in trouble so I'm go to charge you, your decuable before I can look at system and it gets fix than your warranty company can refund your money.

No call no show. I've been waiting a week and a half and my air conditioners been broke. It's been over 100° out. I can't get any satisfaction on the phone. This company is not very good.

2 visits did not check freon on first time left the compressor running even when off first visit did not say the compressor was fried we do have it cleaned and hose it out periodically lastly he told us everything was ok a couple hours later called choice and found out what he told them. how do i know he didn't do something wrong this time too. we found a part in our yard from the first visit
