The Sears network system is an unmitigated disaster. You are told to wait at home from 8 to 5 pm, then get a text at 5:15 pm that your appt has been rescheduled for 2-3 days off. This has happened three times to me — 3 full days out of the office with no repair guy, then 3 additional days hoping he will show up before dark. 6 days out of the office! For rather straightforward appliance repairs!. Never again! The repair guys are excellent, but the home office and the system for assigning them is intolerable. I will not do further business with this organization.

Alex was on time and efficient. He talked through the differentials, ran a cycle then narrowed it down to the most likely problem. Unfortunately the part needed is no longer available. He ended the appointment with a nice summary and made some recommendations. I think I know a little more about washing machines now!

Even if Jim did a good and fast job, Sears itself was unsatisfactory. Making an appointment took a month and the appointments were delayed (by at least 1 month each time). I contacted Sears sometime in early September and the repair was finally done on December 18 all this to repair the door of my dishwasher. I had the parts delivered months ago at home. I wouldn't recommend Sears for repair even though I had excellent service from Sear prior to the pandemic.
