Norman was the best part of Sears Home Service

I found it very difficult to get a customer service associate by phone. I am not a fan of the Virtual Assistant. Its understanding is limited. The technician, Norman, listened carefully to my description of the problem I was having, asked me many questions and with that information was able to diagnose the problem and initiate the order for the part needed. There seemed to be a problem with the handoff of the part from UPS to USPS from the updates that I received from both companies. Sears did not provide any updates and actually stopped any communication with me. After about a month the part arrived and I was told it would be another month before it could be installed. Thankfully after about a week I was offered an appointment much sooner. Norman returned and installed the part. He explained what he was doing and how the problem occurred. He was very careful to clean up upon completion.

Brian quickly identified what the problem was (user error), fixed it and educated me on what I needed to do in the future to prevent it. If I should have a problem in the future I would welcome him back if I were lucky enough to have him assigned as my tech. He was polite, efficient and professional.
