Refrigerator still doesn't work
James did a good job getting the ice and water control board up and running on July 26, with no problem programing it. However, two days ago it began making the same banging noises again and this morning it is blinking off and on as well as making the banging noise. He is the second technician that has been unable to fix the problem. We have been without our refrigerator for 2 months and that is totally unacceptable.

Benjamin was helpful. However, the fridge is not at its best. I put a small cup of water in the freezer yesterday around 6pm. 14 hours later, only the top of the water is frozen, the bottom is still liquid. I will reach out to AHS for a revisit.

Frank steam cleaned the part that was frosted over. This has happened before when temperatures get in high 80's or low 90's. Not sure if problem is permanently solved. Frank was prompt, courteous, and professional in his work.

I called Sears for a noise in my dryer, it was diagnosed as worn out parts, parts were ordered, next tech gets here and says I can fix it, but it won't stop the noise. He was right. He replaced worn out parts, yet it still makes noise, which wasn't addressed at all. Honestly not very happy or satisfied with what I paid for.

I really appreciated Sloan getting the lightbulb bases out of the sockets. But when I put new lightbulbs in, they did not work. Can someone take a look at the sockets?

He said he would give me a screenshot, but I have not received it. I am at work and was not able to be home when he was there. I liked that he called to let me know when he would arrive. I like that he took the time to explain everything to me. I have a hard time remembering things, that is why I wanted the screenshot that he said would have all the information that I needed.

He said I will probably need a new unit because the serial number and the model number is worn off so it can not be worked on. I will call ya'll tomorrow and discuss what needs to get it started. That's why I am paying monthly payments for for this home protection insurance.

Horace was very nice and pleasant to interact with. My frustration was with the Sears system and confirming the appointment. The, what I assume, autobot asked for me to confirm the appointment the day before which I did. It stated the service window would be from 8am - Noon. I made sure to adjust my schedule to be available, however, the window of 8am - Noon came and went. Horace didn't make it to our place until after 4pm. I didn't receive any notifications regarding delays. And there wasn't even a number to call to ask and confirm if the appointment had been canceled or not. Sears needs to fine tune their "day of" communications.
