This was the repair on a dishwasher that was not pumping out all of the water after the cycle. The latest call was to install a new control board and sensor which would fix this. The technician left with the dishwasher running on a supposedly clean cycle it stopped running and was totally frozen at the controls. I tried to turn it off to reset it, but could not do this, because the tech had broken the on off button making it unusable. Workaround is to turn the breaker off that controls the circuit. Doing this, we can wash dishes But you have to go in the basement to trip the breaker. the dishwasher still does not drain all the water. This is not the Sears service we have become accustomed to.

VERY POOR JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First visit Thomas installed a new evaporator ....( refrigerator not cooling properly). First visit by another technician (?) stated that ref not cooling properly so he ordered another evaporator and a filter dryer. because he said there is a small freon leak) Second visit by Thomas installed new evaporator and filter dryer ( Aug 11 stated that it takes 24 hours for ref to cool properly. Aug 13 by 10 am finding out ref completely shut down and all food inside damages , milk, creamer, bacon, lots of cheese, too many other stuff ( took pictures ). Called Sears to voice complaint so they set another appointment Aug 16th and requested to send a different technician and not Thomas but they said it has to be Thomas because he started the job! So our ref problem not cooling properly but working and after almost Sears spending almost $1,000 for parts & labor now our ref completely not working !!!!! Now I have to buy ice and a cooler to place other stuff we have to eat !!!

Only one day?

The new control board that Dexter installed worked for one day. Every thing got cold and the freezer froze a container of water. The next day the refrigerator stopped cooling and stayed that way. i am not too happy with this repair.

Dishwasher still doesn't drain

Robert blew air through the drain line. The dishwasher still has doesn't drain water out of the basin. I thought he would have done a little more than blow air through the drain line. I suppose I should have left water in the basin after the last time I ran the machine.

Worst service call

After ongoing issues with my refrigerator not cooling, the extended warranty company sent this guy out. All he did was check the freon level. Problem got even worse! Different technician from a different company came out & said the Sears guy actually released freon by taking too long to connect the gauge. What kind of training did he have?! Not happy with Sears.

Washer issue

Jonathan came at 5:20, appt was between 3-5pm. He was nice. As soon as he came he said I was #12 on his list, he's tired of his job and was quitting. He said he can't do what he's doing anymore. I told him what the problem with the washer was. He was rushing and didn't do a good diagnosis. He was done in 10 mins. I declined the estimate because I think there was more problems to the washer than what he had told me. I will get another estimate from another appliance repair company.

Horrible!! Will never use Sears again

You can never speak to a human. Everyone pushes the buck. No one calls you back. I had to pay multiple deductibles to have repairman come and problem still isn't fixed yet they continue to charge me monthly!! Never will recommend!!

Tech did not arrive until 6:35 pm. Francisco, the tech, and a trainee spent 5 to 10 minutes, never once opening up the machine. They asked what the issue was and promptly then said, "We can't order that part." Francisco continued with variations on that same theme, showing me his phone that said, "part unavailable, " and left soon after. I was still charged for their visit even though they made no attempt to repair the machine.
