Clement is very friendly and respectful. When things didn't work out correctly he came back and installed another part.

I've grown accustomed over the years to always expect the very worst outcome when an appliance (or any other device) breaks down…it's always bad news, either the warranty expired two days before or the repair is going to cost more than your yearly income. Well, imagine my surprise ,and tears of relief, when my service tech figured out that I had accidentally locked my washer and was able to get me back into the game at the touch of a button! I can't thank both he,and Sears Service department, for their FAST response to my problem. I gladly paid for the service call and know who to call if I need help again.

He worked hard to fix the oven and looked at all the different pieces to try and figure out why it wasn't working. He provided valuable insight into our oven's repair.

Laurie M,
Phoenix, AZTechnician was awesome - Sears H.S. scheduling - not so much
John was awesome - he was thorough, he explained everything to us. Had a bit of a snafu with an incorrect part but it was resolved immediately & resulted in a refund. As far as scheduling, I have nothing good to say about how S.H.S schedules existing / open appointments OR how they can very easily "add" new appointments daily, all the while an existing appointment needs attention. John worked insane hours and even with his heavy work load, he STILL made efforts to fit us in. He kept in touch with us throughout but we understood his hands were tied by an ineffective computerized scheduling system. Ai, online, digital - whatever you want to call it, is NOT always better - ESPECIALLY when the human element is completely removed and existing appointments are left in the lurch with no option to prioritize them or schedule them higher up in priority level. This left us with 2 plus weeks without a working refrigerator - we had no choice but to purchase a "garage" fridge freezer. At one point my husband said to me, "if I had known this scheduling was going to be so messed up, I would have purchased a new fridge. "Do better, Sears. Specifically for existing appointments. To end on a good note, John was the best. He was thorough, respectful of my home & explained everything to my husband and I. My complaints are about your scheduling system - NOT John whatsoever. Try not to work him to death or you will cause burn out and loose a GREAT technician.

Tim quickly diagnosed a complex issue with our dishwasher. Since this is a review on him, five stars, excellent! However, he was the third SEARS technician to visit for the same issue. It is beyond frustrating that the phone and online system is entirely AI-driven and you cannot reach a person to understand what parts need to be ordered or even what type of service call is needed.
