Air Conditioner
Bowman was thorough checking the temperature on our air conditioner.

your service man was in my home no more than 15 minutes, I requested for him to adjust the doors on the refrigerator which he replied I am not doing that. he took the temperature of the refrigerator, which was 28 degrees, I said that is a little low, he replied its ok, he checked the gaskets and left. Not Happy.

a part was installed which starts compressor (approx 70 dollars) the labor to install was over 400 dollars. this labor cost is excessive and it only took tech 15 minutes to install once he determined what part was needed. in total he was here about 1.5 hours but half that time was spent cleaning coils on this frig and a second frig.

The tech. was very friendly and courteous... however, he wasn't aware that I have a membership plan. He should have read the notes from the Spring visit before arriving. Had he done that he would have read that the tech who checked my AC on 5/22/24 wanted the AC rechecked in the fall due to a possible refrigerant leak. I had forgotten this and expected the tech who came on 10/28/24 would have read the previous notes and arrived knowing exactly what the situation was....he did not. Now I don't know if the leak is still ongoing and if I will have to pay for a tech to come back and recheck it. The AC is still working fine and probably will survive until next summer. I would feel bad to ding the tech guy from yesterday since I don't know if it's a company policy to read notes from a previous visit....if it's not a company policy it should be. I will rate the tech guy a 4... but he should have been aware of what hewas walking into.
