Stephen was wonderful. He contacted me this morning to give me a narrower time estimate and then kept me updated throughout the day. He was polite and respectful. He seemed knowledgeable and checked all of my appliances in a reasonable amount of time. Previous technicians have needed my help or for me to provide them with tools, etc. Stephen came well-prepared and comfortably handled the task independently. After pronouncing a clean bill of health for all of the appliances, he departed for his next service call. I have only good things to say about Stephen. Please let him be my technician again next summer! As for the way scheduling is handled, it needs a serious overhaul. I called on four separate days when the wait time was estimated to be over two hours. The other number provided turned out to be incorrect and I sat through a series of ads before I finally hung up after 20 minutes. Finally I called on a day with "only" a 40 minute wait. My assigned window was 8-5 and it couldn't be narrowed down until some unknown time on that day. When I originally purchased my protection agreement, I could schedule online at my convenience and was assigned a 3 hour window. Then after a few years it was changed to "morning" or "afternoon" upon scheduling and an estimated time was given the evening prior. I will not be renewing my service once it hits the expiration date as these scheduling issues make it no longer convenient.
