Sears sent Raymond, who has provided appliance repairs for us over several years of our 5 yr service contract. This time for an annual checkup of our washer/dryer. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. A pleasure indeed.

Lejeune H,
Grand Prairie, TXExcellent service by Douglas T
Douglas T is pleasant, professional and efficient. He has provided excellent service - annual preventive maintenance or an occasional small repair - for a number of years on my washer and dryer. He understands the workings of the older model Kenmores. On a different note, I was disappointed when Sears said I would no longer be able to continue with a service agreement for my washer and dryer because they are over 25 years old, even though they are a good example of the worthiness of a Kenmore product.

We have been dealing with an issue of a found odor lingering on some of the clothes after they have been cleaned. It was driving me nuts because I have a sensitive nose and the wife couldn't detect it. It turns out that the issue was more than likely to be that even though we use a small amount of soap, we're still using too much. We put some clean clothes in the washer without adding soap and both the wash and rinse cycle still has soap in it as the washer would agitate. It's amazing how little soap we need to use in these HE washing machines. If you notice a lingering odor, try using a little less soap until you can no longer see soap suds in the clothes with a second wash cycle. I think you'll be surprised. Thank you Alex:)
