Matt came to perform a maintenance check up on my microwave. This was the fifth scheduled date (the previous four, no Tech showed up over four months). He performed several tests that I have not seen previously, and was extremely thorough and professional. I told him about a pending Dryer repair that I was also waiting on (which only had two prior "no shows", so far) - Matt got permission from his management to switch the Dryer appointment to him while he was already on site; he quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, and scheduled the follow up visit. Win Win for everyone: As a result, he saved Sears a considerable cost by combining visits and did an extraordinary job accommodating the customer (instead of having to wait three more weeks for just the next rescheduled diagnostic visit). Sears is very fortunate to have such an experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated team player.
