I bought a new refrigerator and it is not working at the "recommended settings" in either the freezer or refrigerator. I have the freezer at the coldest possible setting and my ice cream is still soft. My 2 thermometers indicate that the refrigerator is close to 50 degrees when it's set at almost the coldest setting. The repair man came in with only an infra-red thermometer and said it's fine. He wouldn't listen to what I said and kept interrupting me when I tried to talk. He arrived almost 2 hours early, which is probably from not thoroughly doing his job at the previous customers either.

I'm not sure what they did. The dryer guy called the washer guy a liar.

Our Samsung dyer has been down for almost 3 months. Several attempts to fix it failed. Service Techs were OK, they order parts 3 times and still could not find the problem. So, I will receive a credit and get a new Samsung because you didn't have to correct part to fix the problem. The biggest issue was when I called your Customer Care and the lady was rude and unprofessional.. She ask me if I thought I was the only person the ever had a dryer problem along with other very rude remarks and yes I reported her. We have been a Sears customer for over 40plus years. Our first credit card was a Sears. I cant tell you how disappointed I am with Sears. I am stuck with the Samsung washer and dryer and there isn't allot we can do at this time except not buying Sears anymore. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone

My 5 month old refrigerator died. Called service and they said the error code required a new circuit board which they would send and needed 5 days to do it. It's my only refrigerator, what's wrong with overnighting the part? Then they needed to schedule the service rep to come install it 6 (six) days after that! What's wrong with the next day? Again, it's my only refrigerator and my food was spoiling! They said to call once the part was in and they'd move the service up, so I did just that. And there was no one available to move it up so we remained on the same 12 day schedule. AND, when the service man got to our home to install the part, he found that Sears did NOT send the correct circuit board (wouldn't even fit our refrigerator). However, he found that the problem was NOT the circuit board but rather a sensor which he happened to have on his truck. Fixed immediately and working still a week later. NEXT TIME, we're not waiting for the part Sears! I bought your product because you have the best rated service! I'm not seeing that yet! Next time I'm going to argue with you to send your service man out the very next day and THEN we'll order a part if we have to. I just threw away a 4 year old GE refrigerator because it was giving us too much trouble and GE wouldn't repair it. I can do the same with your product if you don't honor your service. However, we're back on good terms with you right now IF you take better care of me next time! Sincerely, Tom E

misdiagnosed problem -HORRIBLE SEARS EXPERIENCE
Service tech repaired my starter and solenoid but then told me that engine was bad because it wouldn't start. He said it was likely due to bad gas and not covered by warranty. I refused to except that answer because he previously claimed the same thing when the carbuerator failed supposedly due to bad gas and said it wasn't covered by warranty. I paid someone else to repair the carbuerator and they said that it was not clogged but rather it was broken and should have been covered by the warranty. After I reminded the repair man that he previously had to tighten a lifter valve that had come loose, he checked the engine and discovered that it had come loose again. SO I diagnosed the problem instead of him and if I hadn't, I would have been charged to replace the engine because of "bad gas". he also did not put in his report about the failing lifter valve so there is no additional record of this. This was a HORRIBLE SEARS EXPERIENCE!

NOT WORKING Refrigerator FOR OVER 3 MOUNTHS
TERRIBLE SERVICE, TO LONG IN BETWEEN REPAIRS, AND STILL NOT FIXED
GUST J, EATONVILLE, WA
Our 11 month old Kenmore refrigerator quit working. It took 8 days to get a service call. The repair took 20 minutes. Did not require any parts that you made us wait to get in the mail before allowing the technician to check on the refrigerator. Very bad customer service. No one should have to wait 8 days for a refrigerator repair. Won't be purchasing from Sears again. We even paid for your extended service.

Diagnosis excellent, parts arrived timely but damaged. Notified Sears immediately, stated new parts ordered. NEVER arrived, ck never ordered! Serviceman tried to utilize damaged part to get us "washing". Originally sent WRONG part, won't fit. Correct part additional $330, OK. Wait, another waiting period for part arrival &a installation appt. 3weeks no washer. Give me the voucher, purchased new washer, must wait a week for delivery, day arrives, receive window delivery of 5:30 - 7:30 PM!!! Ridiculous
