Trying to get service was horrid!! I had knee replacement surgery and could barely use a walker when my dryer stopped working. I could not get an appointment scheduled for over 3 weeks, and I had a service plan purchased. This lack of timely service has happened before. Absolutely horrid service. The service person was great!

Terrible Service

I booked the appointment and had to wait 2 weeks to get in. They came and told me they "Fixed" the problem, and the next day the problem persisted and is causing harm to my flooring. I now have to wait another 2 weeks for them to come back.

My ice maker is still not working

My ice maker is still not working. he came out and took out a piece of ice but did not replace the part, though I had the part that was shipped to my house. the water is coming out warm and I still have no ice.

Refrigerator repair failure

Service tech seemed very knowledgeable, and performd the recommended "fix" for the refrigerator. It did not work. I still have the same problems I reported. The tech said it might not work, and he was right!

problem not fixed

our washer was not filling with water / waited over a week for a repairman / nice man / worked hard on washer / after he left I tried the washer and it was exactly the same / still does not fill / wish he had tried to run a cycle to find this out before leaving / now I have had t wait another week for Sears to reschedule a new appointment/ lets hope this time it is fixed

Horrible disastrous repairmen, horrible policies

They arrived over an hour late. After arrival I told them the problem was intermittent. They fiddled with my ice maker for about an hour. Then they said its fixed. It stopped working an hour later and when I called back for repair they said it will be two weeks before they can come back. When I called to complain the manager said that the ice maker was working. I told him it hasn't worked for two months and he basically said I was lying. I ended up returning the ice maker to the Sears store by basically dropping it off and making them take it back. It was a couple of months old and beyond the returns window but I didn't give them any other choice after explaining that the repairman came and did nothing but turn it on and off after explaining to them that it will work intermittently. For gods sake change something, at least diagnose it based on my description of the problem, NOT what's it's currently doing.... Horrible experience will never deal with their service again.

Hey thought it was being cause by one thing and what he did didn't fix my issue and I paid $154 and lost a day at work. Horrible experience.

sent canister vac in for service, took 2 weeks for repair, was not notified when repair was complete, vac was retuned to me with missing parts, communication is terrible trying to get missing parts replaced. 4 weeks after initial service still no replacements for missing parts.

It is now September & I have been without an oven since June. After four attempts to fix my oven it was determined it could not be fixed. The repairman were wonderful but there is not much they can do when they have to use refurbished parts!! Over the years we spent way over $500 for extended warranties so I was shocked that all I get wad $500 toward a new one. If I had saved my money & not got warranties I would have enough to buy a very expensive new one!! Sears products are not what they used yo be!

Horrible experience....

For the last two months we have had trouble with our year old Samsung refrigerator. We have had three service appointments, scheduled WEEKS apart. My husband had ti lose a day's pay the last time because, although we offered three alternate dates, none could be accommodated. He now has to take off again tomorrow 9/21, losing yet another day's pay....not to mention buying ice every other day!
