    I received an automated message that the technician would be at my house by 10am, When it was after 10am, I called and found out the technician wasn't showing up until 11:00/11:30. I highly recommend that Sears does not use the automated message if it's not going to align with the actual time because this was during the week and I had to get to work.Other than the time mess-up, the service was ok.

  3. Ice maker working again!

    Same service man was here last week and replaced sensors, but ice maker made no ice. This time he replaced entire ice maker and cubes are once again gracing our freezer half. Try, try again. Thank you Sears!

  4. Informative and competent service

    This repair has dragged on for months and months, and this final repair person was able to explain many of the ins and outs of what went wrong, etc. He also installed the final part that had been ordered and assured me that the refrigerator in question would provide good service for more years - which is good, because I want to give it to someone in need who is having a rough time financially.

    Sending parts to me w/instructions on how to install them seems to be the SOP for service contracts w/Sears. For their cost, I expect a turnkey repair job. DGOATES

  8. They dumped on a loyal customer in an emergency.

    As water poured across my kitchen down through my finished cellar Sears Service didn't consider it important enough to save a loyal customer of 40 years to make an emergency visit.

  9. Service technician went way out of his way

    Technician was very professional had to rectify order issued schedule issues. Technician made numerous personal effort assure parts were here before he arrived. Service representative failed to order parts scheduled service before party's. Arrived. Technician made numerous calls to assure correct coordination he saved your reputation cause the people coordinating were not even in the stadium when the ball was dropped

    The service man come a few days ago to provide my free check-up that come with my extended warranty and he did a great job making sure everything was ok and cleaning my vents, etc.
