Scary, Do nothing

Technician was not customer service. At one point I said to myself, "Just get him out of here." I was alone in the house with this technician and he was aggressive and kurt with me. Telling me there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher. I stated that he isn't cleaning the dishes on the top rack. He stated I needed to use less soap and more Jet Spray.

Ridiculous service scheduling

Took over two weeks to get dishwasher repaired after two parts orders and two service calls. Sears needs a better system to handle repairs. Will not buy Kenmore in the future based on this experience

Unresolved Issue

I have been trying to get them to repair my Maytag dish washer since January this year. Every time they come out they can not find a problem with it. But when I use it, It makes loud noises. I had this dishwasher for several years and It was always quiet. I use to set it to come on at 2 in the morning while we slept. So the dishes would be ready to use the next day. Now we can barely stand to run it during the daytime hours because it makes so much noise. They will come out and say that it has too much soap in it, or do not rinse the dishes before you put them in it. We have been using cascade pods every since we bought it and never had a problem before. They told us to switch to liquid dish washing detergent that did not help either.

Disappointed in Sears!

Despite six years of annual check-ups. the filter in my dishwasher was never checked nor cleaned.. Last week I needed to call repair service, my dishwasher was malfunctioning. The filter was full of six years of unspeakable filth. This bacteria has been thrown over my dishes for years. THIS IS A HEALTH HAZARD FOR MY FAMILY! . I purchased your insurance with annual checkups to prevent such an experience. SOMEONE IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB!.

Worst experience in my life!

I will never buy a Sears Warranty for my appliances for the rest of my life. I will tell all my friends and family my experience and will tell them it is not worth it. It took three weeks to get a technician to my house for my appliance that was broken. Unacceptable in this day and age.

Poor service

The dishwasher motor broke after only 8 months. We purchased it new. The first tech showed and replaced the wrong part after we told him the motor was broken. We then had to wait another week for another tech to come. He identified the problem and ordered a new part. Your warehouse then sent the wrong part to the house. Fortunately the third time a tech showed up he had a replacement part on his truck. We speaking with your "customer service" my fiancé demanded to speak with a supervisor. She was hung up on. I would give this overall experience zero stars, and I can assure I will never purchase another appliance from Sears.

Terrible repair service

I have been without a dishwasher for 5 weeks bc of the ordering of part by part which does not fix the problem. I guess this could go on forever. The only thing left is screw replacement!

Very disappointed in my dishwasher & replacement

I purchased all Sears appliances for my new home. Very happy except for dishwasher. Have had repeated visits from Sears repair but still want D/W replaced. Sears dropped my appliance in their warehouse and bent frame & tub. Sent every part by mail and rebuilt almost entire machine. It would have been easier to replace machine. But when I call the insurance, they tell me its the same repair 3 times w/in 90 days or 4 calls in one year on same appliance. So rebuilding D/W entirely only counts as one call. Then I don't have enough calls yet I have had service agents tell me to call - it should be replaced. Due to this asinine behavior on Sears corporate end - I will never, ever purchase anything else at Sears. I will mention my story anytime I have a chance to speak about my miserable experience with Sears.

All he did was look into it and order two plastic clips for "my husband" to put in when UPS delivered. Lots of time was spent on the computer, and the amount this visit was worth was rated at $169. Outrageous!!!!!!!!
