I had an appointment yesterday and they never showed. I took off all day so they could do this. Was supposed to be here between 8-5. No call no show. The money I lost from missing work today could have bought me two microwaves. I will never waste my day again waiting for this terrible company. They couldn’t even call me.

I originally edited my last review but my experience with this company has been so terrible that I felt the need to write a whole other review. This company is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with and this has been the worst warranty experience ever. I am 5 months into this fiasco and my dishwasher is still not fixed. The company has left me waiting on multiple days they were scheduled to come out only to reschedule after 5 o’clock. By multiple I mean 4 times in 4 months. I have to take days off work to make sure I’m available for the ridiculous 8am to 5 pm window only to have them let me know they couldn’t make it out with no reason given. On the 4 times they have made it out, the tech has been absolutely clueless as to how to fix my machine. After two visits with no success, he supposedly found a service bulletin telling him how to fix my machine. This was three months ago and I still don’t have a working dishwasher. The visit before this last cancellation, the company ordered a used part from who knows what vendor and the tech would not install it. NO ONE SHOULD EVEN CONSIDER SEARS FOR A HOME WARRANTY. Period. Save yourself the headache and find someone else. Sears is the absolute worst company to deal with and if their customer service model is this bad, hopefully they won’t be in business longer. At least I can hope so that no one else goes through the nightmare I have been through.

Waited 1 month for parts after initial visit to repair heat only to have assigned repair person come and say they were not able to actually install the parts due to being unable/not comfortable with shutting off electric to allow work to be done. Stated they needed to go back through home warranty to get an electrician in order to manage this - it could have been shut off via circuit breaker. We are now going to wait at least another 2 weeks, making 6 weeks during fall/winter without heat in main part of house since we put in initial service request. This is also now 3 service visits with no repair done and still no heat. Edit: In response to the response from Sears: I have called the number provided, and I was given no further information and no resolution. Second edit: after repair, heat has worked for 1 week before stopping again. 1 star is too high.

The repairman never showed up. I never recieved a text to notify us of an anticapted arrival. I did however recieve a text stating the technician knocked and no one was home at 7:45pm after the fact. That text is a bold -face lie because all of our lights were on in the house. the shades were up to see if the technician was out there, the porch light was on and in addition we have a camera doorbell and recieved no indication of someone knocking or ringing the doorbell. We were home, damnit!! I do have a cell phone, in which you all have the number. Never recieved a call. Is this how Sears does business? You all should be ashamed. I've been home since 2:45pm waiting patiently. This is BS!!!

Bought an LG dishwasher at Lowe's and purchased the Lowes Protection Plan and this is who they use. Appt #1 Repair Tech NO SHOW. After waiting around 8-12, received a text that my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled without calling me, asking availability or even a courtesy heads up. Appt #2 Repair Tech shows up 30 minutes late after waiting at home 8-12. Says he has to order parts. Made me wonder how I repair service doesn't carry routine stock parts in their truck like a motor. Appt #3 Repair Tech shows up, says part that was ordered and received is broken and he needs to reorder it. Appt #4 Repair Tech NO SHOW after waiting at home 8-12. No phone call, no text. Had to call the Service to find out what happened. Appt #5 Repair Tech NO SHOW after waiting at home 1-5. No phone call, just a text at 5:30 saying my appointment was canceled and rescheduled without consulting me for availability or even a courtesy call. This service is completely useless and unacceptable. STAY AWAY!! Do not buy the Lowe's protection plan, just save the money to buy the part yourself and YouTube how to fix it yourself.

The worst. Our washing Machine was making grinding noises so the company came out, diagnosed the issue, and ordered replacement parts. Parts arrived to our house a couple of days later in time for our scheduled fix-it appointment on August 5th. August 5th comes and no one shows up. I call and the lovely ROBOT FROM HELL says my new appointment is scheduled for August 13th. Try for hours to talk to a live person. Impossible. Give up and wait for August 13th. Oh look it’s 6pm on August 13th and I now receive a call from the tech saying hey we aren’t going to make it so our new appointment is now August 23rd. I ask for a manager to call me. Sorry our managers only text us they don’t call. Try ROBOT FROM HELL again to see if I can somehow talk to a person. No go. So now I’m waiting to see if anyone shows up this upcoming Friday. Will never use this company again. **UPDATE** it’s now 1:39PM on Friday, August 23rd and shocking I’m sure but Sears missed their 8am-12pm appointment timeline. Currently estimated arrival is 4:47PM. Such an odd time and a great time to no show completely. Continue to be disappointed by a company that is holding us hostage with our own washing machine.

I have a warranty with them and so far the service has not been good at all. It can take a month to get a tech to come out. In my case, they got someone here in five days. The tech was condescending and insisted the issue is not with a failing air handler/HVAC but with the same duct system that has been used beautifully with this HVAC system for over 10 years and before this one for another 10 plus years. He said it didn't appear to be dirty or collapsed. It was just too narrow to allow air to flow and there was nothing else he could do. It has not been to narrow for air to flow for over 40 (that's the age of this house) years. I think Sears is dodging replacing my system which is included in my warranty. On top of that, they miss important details in scheduling. They did not address at the time of speaking with them that my appointment was not setup correctly and the tech originally was instructed to cancel it. The next appointment was in a month. I talked to several people and someone should have caught that this was a no charge service call. I would not recommend this service to someone else at this time.

The one Tech that I have actually seen was amazing. However trying to get this company to come back to finish the repair after I had Parts shipped to me has been nothing but a total nightmare. My first appointment that was scheduled by the technician in my home for July 2nd was a complete no show no call. Every time I call the corporate number three out of the four times I was guaranteed that a tech would be arriving that day. On the last call I was told it's a warranty issue and I have to call my warranty department. My warranty department escalated this issue back to A&E and they claim that it was my issue that I did something wrong then they changed their story to their are absolutely no technicians in my area that are qualified to do refrigerator repairs to finally their last lie of they were having booking issues and majority of their bookings were not being processed through. So this manager and the escalation Department from corporate clean as soon as he can get appointment for me would be July 8th. He also stated he was putting me on an emergency list to be the one the first people to be notified if there were any openings that were available. The next morning I came to find out that this again was a lie that the website shows availability for July 5th and 6th. I had to call them and ask them why I was not offered the July 5th date and request them to add the July 5th date for an appointment to have my refrigerator repaired. I also asked the rep on the phone to please not cancel my July 8th appointment she told me she would not cancel it it would still be in their system. Now we come to today July 5th I'm supposed to have a tech at the house between 8:00 a.m. and noon. I had received my calls in the morning the day before reminding me the appointment making sure that I was home the text confirmation sent and so forth. This morning at 9:30 there was no updates on any technician I had called the corporate number and was told that a technician would be coming out and times would be updated by 10:30 a.m. if I don't have an updated time to please call back. Well guess what no times were updated I called back and was told that they had assigned mice claim to a technician and a tech would be calling me at 2:00 p.m. to confirm his arrival time for today but not to worry they guarantee they will have somebody at my house today. 3:00 comes I call back and I'm told not to worry a tech was on his way he'll be there between the hours of 2 and 4:00 p.m. again I hang out after reconfirming for the umpteenth time they attack will be arriving. 5:00 comes no technician no call no show no nothing just another text sent to me reminding me of my appointment for today from 8:00 a.m. to noon while it's now 5:30 p.m. after sitting on hold for almost 3 hours I am told that it is now a booking issue that there's absolutely nothing that can be done that my claim has an escalation on it to be an emergency claim and that they will be notifying the local branch in my area but refuse to have the management they are call me or contact me any shape or form claiming they do not have that ability to do so. Also somebody canceled my appointment for Monday so now I have to wait another week to have a repair Tech come out that should have came out the first time on July 2nd to repair my refrigerator therefore leaving me with two young children and no fridge in the house to hold food. Never again will I ever do business with this company after this claim is completed I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau about the actions taken by A&E. It is sad because the techs at this location have to deal with such a crappy corporate office making the techs look like they are the issue.

Was told someone would come out to repair my refrigerator 2 days after I called. Then was called to say they have to order a part so it would be the following week. This was without ever laying eyes on it. They texted me several times to ask me questions about the refrigerator. I answered every question. The day of the appointment (one week after it broke), the repairman called at 4:15. He asked me what was wrong with the refrigerator! He then told me that it would cost between $1500 and $2000 to repair. I was livid because the person I spoke to before, who said they were ordering a part, told me the repair would most likely be $300. In the days leading up to the appointment, they repeatedly tried to sell me some kind of insurance plan for all my appliances. I said no each time. Long story short, I bought a new refrigerator which cannot be delivered for 4 days. If someone had been upfront with me from the beginning, I would have already had a refrigerator installed. LESSON LEARNED.
