Tech came out and stated he had fixed the AC. 1 week later my AC condenser unit stopped working. Called to set up an appointment for a recall and was given a date of 1 week out. It’s really hot in Texas and if this is a recall why do I have to wait an entire week for the HVAC to be serviced??? This is crazy!

This tec didn’t show up. He was to arrive between 1-5. Rolando(the tec) called around 6:05 pm after I contacted Choice (5:50) to let them know that I hadn’t heard from him. Rolando said he was running late and that he would be here about 8 pm if he would make it at all. Then he said that it would be 8:30 pm and that maybe I should reschedule because he wasn’t sure of that time either. Poor customer service!

The technician was efficient, helpful, and professional. However, everything else was horrible. Their call system is designed to prevent you from speaking with anybody. I had to call multiple times each time and figure out how to trick the system into letting me speak to a live person. The technicians ordered a part three different times before it finally arrived. When I tried to escalate, the call center said they couldn’t escalate or let me speak to anyone else because they don’t have access to the escalation people. They are all “offline.” We were without a washer for SEVEN WEEKS because of Sears horrible service!!!

Complete and total scam. First appointment, gave me a 4 hour window and completely stood me up. Had to wait on the phone for 23 minutes to reschedule. Second appointment the technician was in my house for 5 minutes, told me there was nothing he could do and collected $123 from me. Never again.

If you want to be without an appliance for 2months. Call these guys. They will reschedule, order the wrong parts, and leave you without your appliance (refrigerator for us). They will waste your time. Just buy another appliance will be the solution if you choose Sears Home Services. Also they will sell you on HVAC products in the mean time while you wait.

This was just a horrible experience. The field tech diagnosed the issue, presented the cost to repair and I paid for during first visit. Part was available at that time. Two weeks later field tech shows up to install and asked me for the part. I said you all ordered the part; nobody told us it would come to our house. He checked with his office and they had no idea when the part would arrive, but told me to call the 1800 number to check status. That is the nightmare. The voice prompt system is just horrible and getting to a actual person was difficult. When I did, they told me "we just changed systems and we are having problems locating your order, even though I have paid in full (~$700). One month has passed and voila the part arrived. I just schedule a new appointment online without human intervention and they showed up. I said "here you go, please install". So in the end the problem was fixed, it was just the horrible customer service, excuses and lack of "AI" working for me:)

Had six appointments for refrigerator repair six no-shows on the seventh Appointment somebody forged our name I have a copy, showed that service was complete, not a single person showed up.

THE. WORST. COMPANY. EVER!!!!!!!! My complaint is similar to others. I have been without a functioning clothes dryer for almost two months. Incompetent technicians came to "service" my dryer who never fixed the problem. An extremely long story short, Sears was supposed to contact my home warranty company so that they can start the process of replacing my dryer. It has been a month now that this was supposed to happen and every. single. time. I call Sears to follow up, I'm starting from scratch. Nothing that they have ever stated they would do have they honored. And it shouldn't be so hard to get in touch with an agent either! You have to trick the automated system just to speak with someone and when you do, it's someone from a foreign country, posing several barriers. Sears reputation has gone to the garbage! I thought highly of this company, but it is terribly obvious they are not concerned about their customers at all. The service I have received from the technicians has been inadequate at best, and the service I have received from the agents has been ridiculously poor! Importantly, I have been without a working clothes dryer for almost two months and there seems to be no end in sight! If you value your well-being, sanity, and money, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! It's not worth it, I'm telling you! This has been the WORST service experience ever and I wouldn't wish Sears for anyone!
