Jarius looked and felt around the compressor and decided to try replacing the capacitor and told me to check in 24 hours if the unit was cooling. I asked if not how would I contact him to return. He said I had to go through my warranty service to schedule. Well that took a couple of phone calls and I had no ability to speak with anyone at A&E, just a robot and a new appointment they assigned without speaking to me as to my availability. I had to decline that suggested appointment and they offered a day earlier one which I was happy with. THEN I receive a text message that the appointment has been changed back to the day I was not available. I followed their text message link for instructions to get another appointment. The shocker here was that the first available appointment was SEVEN days later so I'm still waiting on their return visit to attempt to repair my refrigerator/freezer. I had a call from one of their offices in TEXAS, I live in Mississippi, and the gentleman I spoke with wanted to know model and serial number and the issue. Duh, I would have thought Jarius would have put that information in my file. I provided that and suggested that they have a compressor with them on their return visit. He said he would send my request in writing as he couldn't talk to the technician (why not? don't they work for the same company?). If they didn't have a compressor for my refrigerator, then it would surely have to be ordered so why not give them a heads up for preparation? The Texas gentleman said he did not know what the technicians carried in their repair vans. I still have 5 more days before the next appointment and my refrigerator/freezer would have been non-functioning for 3 weeks by then. I understand this company is very good but my experience so far has not been the best. At this point in time I still don't know if my refrigerator/freezer will be repairable or if I will be forced into shopping for a new one.
