The technicians never show up for their scheduled appointments and cancel just minutes before. I've taken off work multiple times, and they’ve canceled and rescheduled 5 times over 5 weeks. My washer-dryer combo keeps leaking, and they don’t seem to know how to fix it. It feels like they’re delaying repairs to avoid replacing it before my warranty expires.

This is one of my many efforts at this point, to get satisfaction from Sears home warranty. Unfortunately Sears has dropped the ball. They have gone completely automated and AI based customer service and I cannot get my issue resolved. The techs keep cancelling and rescheduling my appointment for some reason for the last 2 weeks now. The first tech thought he had fixed the washer but it had the same exact problem once I put laundry in to run a load. Sears got a senior tech to do a video call with me for a few minutes but all he could do was set up a new return appointment to try to throw more parts at it. So far they have replace two PC boards, then the next repairmenn(yes 2 of them so they could unstack the dryer which they didn't even touch) said it was the drain motor, so they ordered one of those and came back 2-3 days later. He sat at the end of my driveway where I could barely see him and then I suddenly got text that my repair has been rescheduled at my request which I had NOT. I walked out to ask him why and he claimed he couldn't wait for his helper to arrive any longer (he had been there maybe 15 minutes). He then claimed they would return that same day. They didn't. They did not even arrive for the next scheduled appointment but actually faked a signature on their tablet in which "I" accepted a new estimate and new part order for another PC main board and I was rescheduled again without my consent. They also skipped out on that appointment and rescheduled me for 3 days later. I managed to use the website to reset it for the next day, but they skipped that one as well and have now reset me for a whole weekend after that. I am at a loss as how to get them to repair my washer since there isn't a human in customer service anymore. I will be cancelling this whole house warranty service as soon as I can get this resolved (IF I can) and I DO NOT recommend Sears anymore. I don't know what the problem is, if the techs have a problem with making repairs for me or what, but it has been an issue thru the last 2-3 weeks after the first tech made a repair. This is disheartening and unacceptable behavior, whether by a company as a whole or individual employees.

This is the worse experience. I haven't had a microwave for a month. I had problems with this microwave since 2017 and they keep replacing the same. I tried to reach out to the general manager and was told it's driven by AI.. After several calls seems like I wasn't getting any where. I need the general manager number!

UPDATE: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! DO NOT BUY A SEAR SERVICE CONTRACT, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED! SEARS has now FAILED TO SHOW UP up and/or rescheduled my appointment 5 TIMES. I am still waiting for them to install the part which I have had for a month. Their first visit for this repair was July 24, it is now September 10! We finally managed to get live representatives on the phone and they have NOT HELPED the situation at all! Original review: I had an appointment a week ago to reinstall a rebuilt part in my wall oven/microwave, nobody showed up or communicated with me. I was not able to reach a live person on the phone, but scheduled a new appointment for today. This morning I got an automated email telling me my appointment has been rescheduled for next week. It will have been over a month since they took out the panel to have it rebuilt, and 3 weeks since I got the part back, but I have not had anyone come to complete the repair. Calling them connects to an automated line, with no apparent way to actually speak with anyone who cares.

This technician claims he came to my door and knocked but no one was home. That is a complete untruth! I checked my security camera - no one came to my home. Plus, I have three dogs that sit at the front door looking out the glass storm door who would've barked like crazy at a stranger coming to the door. So now I am still waiting to get my A/C unit fixed.

My experience was non satisfactory. I had had my GE refrigerator serviced approximately 6 times from Oct 2024 to July 2025. The refrigerator was new when I got it, however, I had about it 14 years. The technician from Sears was dispatched by American Home Shield. The technician came and recommended 3 parts since my freezer was not freezing and building up ice inside the freezer part of the refrigerator. The refrigerator side was warm. The parts were due to be installed in 2 weeks from the time the technician came in July. Meantime, food was going bad. I had called AHS and requested a new refrigerator since I paid for 6 service calls over a 2 year time span for different issues. AHS, said they had to go on what technician said. The technician did not recommend a new refrigerator. I get it more future service calls for a dysfunctional refrigerator by the technician not recommending a new one. Also, I explained to the technician about the previous service calls. Therefore, I am very disappointed. Additionally, the parts came by mail sitting at my home for the Aug appointment. The technician came today Aug 4 (for the scheduled appointment time) and picked them up since I told him I no longer needed them. I had cancelled thru AHS, but the tech still came. I guess to get the parts. Didn't tell him, but I had to purchase a new refrigerator on my own.

A tech came the first scheduled service date and ordered parts. The parts came for the appliance and have been sitting here. We scheduled a service to install get the emails and texts but no tech has shown up.
