The technician, Tara was punctual. He communicated with us throughout the day updating us on his whereabouts till he arrived. He was pleasant and maintained a jovial disposition throughout. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions patiently. I'll be using the washer tonight.

When I initially called I told them the light had blown out, now they had the model and still came without the bulb. Now repair was pushed off for another week and I had to deal with the absolute inconsiderate nine hour window for technician to come.

Sears "Home Services" repair has been a real challenge. The executive responsible for this part of the business needs to be terminated. The website that they forward all customers too will ONLY enable the initial repair and contact. We contacted Sears Home Services for a Kenmore Elite 795 (LG) Refrigerator on 2/2/24 and the technician came out within a few days. No cooling at all. The tech claimed that LG is known for their poor quality and upon further investiagation there are law suits in place today as they fail within a few years of purchase! Mine failed in 3 years and is associated exactly to the design flaws (compressor). Because the tech was heading on vacation they sceduled 2 weeks out. We were ok with that and said we could last. 2/17 came and I received an automated notice that it needed to be rescheduled (no reason) and pushed out to 2/27. Thats a month without a refrigerator!! Also the parts were to ship to my house. The tracking showed they shipped to another address that was not only incorrect but they rejected the shipment. The tech showed up and to they immediatly stated that they have been having problems shipping parts and were not suprised. This is where the tech stand apart for the company process's!! The tech knew a sears truck was in for repair and had these very same parts in it!! Called her boss and explained that we have been down for a month and that the parts were sitting in anopther truck 20 minutes away....boom! They went and got the parts and began to repair...2-3 hours....Today we are operational so far!!! The website does NOT allow for the customer (who is watching the shipments, receiving the rescheduling) to reach out and talk to anyone!!! This is not the USA! We have customer satisfaction standards, wquality standards, metrics to meet in business. Fire the executive and bring in someone who can implement a "customer first" program that brings back customers ........across the board.....and helps the techs on the front line be the best they can be without having to deal with inept management!! Honestly.... The tech gets a 5 for thinking outside the box....the process and company get a 1.....
