After the initial visit to assess the problem, I had to wait over 6 weeks until the refrigerator was finally repaired. Previous repair calls with Sears services have been completed within a week of the initial call. After the repair wires are hanging out of the unit where no wires were visible before. The tech was courteous, but the service was disappointing - not what I had come to expect from Sears, particularly with the expense of a service contract.

Technician was inexperience and left the day of service unable to repair he stated he will return the next day was unable to repair sad nothing was wrong even though the unit was freezing up argued with me that because the windows were open house was not cooling down. Windows are open because the air conditioning is not working. He does not understand. Please have Dan come back not this kid.

In the past two weeks, the same technician has come to fix my fridge multiple times. Each time, he would repair it, but within one to two days, the fridge would stop working again. He has ordered parts, but the issue persists. I requested that Sears send a different technician, but they still sent the same one. This has become a nightmare, as my food is unable to stay cold

If I could give zero stars I would. The tech never showed up and closed the ticket saying I declined service.

The technician was awesome and should get 5 stars but the procedure to get an appointment was horrible, several different people requested the same information, gave them model number and problem at least 4 or 5 times, 8 to 5 appointment was listed at 8PM and I was ready to cancel then got the email from technician about coming around 4 PM, had to give my credit card before I even got an appointment, that technician was promtly on the time he said and fixed the problem in a few minutes. You need to streamline your appointment requests because I sure don't want to go through this again.

I needed a GE repair person for my dishwasher which didn’t start. I researched problems on the internet and YouTube and had a good handle on the problem, but just couldn’t fix it. Hired Sears for a $99 diagnostic fee. Ripped off! They outsourced to A&E Factory Service. Nice gentleman came, listened to me, pressed the start button and my panel lit up. I said now press it again to start the dishwasher, and I pressed it to show him. He said he knew the problem and seen this before, and it’s the dishwasher’s computer, that would cost $580. I told him I can buy a new dishwasher for that money. He then proceeded to try to sell me a Sears contract for $720/year. He only touched the start button. He took me for an idiot. I gave him my payment of $99 and stewed. I got back on YouTube and by the second video, I pressed the cycle button at the same time as the start button, and miraculously, the dishwasher started. I can’t even reach this company to complain. Steer far away!!!!

Terrible experience. I will never use Sears Appliance Repair again - the service technician billed me $250 and did not fix anything. In fact, my invoice says, "Appliance not repairable." Why should I pay Sears a dime to tell me my appliance is broken? Ridiculous. When I called to complain they offered me a 10% discount on my next purchase from Sears. Thanks a lot, but there will be no next purchase.
