It was 2 weeks before we could get service on our dryer. That is not acceptable!

The wait time for texting and phone call to reach a person is over an hour no matter when you contact them and reps don't have any actual knowledge except what is written on a script for them! We're sorry that you had such a bad experience with our customer service representative. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your business and will forward your comments to the appropriate team.

I called to schedule a repair of our Kitchenaide dishwasher. I had researched the problem and even had the part number for the issue. I was told that the service person would have everything necessary, but that parts and labor would be added to the standard "diagnostic" fee of $74.00. The person who came to my house was professional and extremely helpful, but told me immediately that Sears does not service Kitchenaide dishwashers and that I would have to contact someone else. He was very helpful, found the service bulletin connected with the problem, and gave good advice about which dealers to contact. I have no complaints about his work. My complaint is with Sears itself. When I tell the call center that I need a Kitchenaide dishwasher repair, why do they schedule a $74 visit that you all know will result in nothing? Don't tell me that the call center is in some other country and "they don't know." If you only service Kenmore, say as much on the phone. Otherwise, people might get the sense that your business model is based on dishonesty. I had to take a half day off work and pay $74 to find out that you don't fix all of the appliances you sell.We apologize for the miscommunication. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your business and will forward your comments to the appropriate team.
