    I am very disappointed that I have been waiting since mid August for refrigerator repair. When repairman arrived Aug. 20, the power was off. He left me his # to call when it came on. It was back on in 1 hour. I called 4 times and no answer. Another appointment was made, he came 9/9. He said he didn't answer last time because he had to go home. I waited until 5 that day. This time he said the faucet was working and I needed another part. The faucet has not worked yet for me. He said I needed another part. When it came I should call and let them know and make another appt. Maybe we'll get the refrigerator fixed before 2016????

  7. Not how I remember Sear's service!

    Repair estimate seemed high initially. I swallowed the cost because I would have owed a $99.00 trip charge if I declined service. Needed part was not on the technician's truck even though his computer inventory said it was there. The tech ordered the part to be sent to my home within 5 business days and scheduled a return repair visit for 16 days later. I received the part and decided to ask for an earlier date for the second repair visit. Person at Sear's said no earlier date was available in my part of town. Strange, that my initial request for service took less than 2 hours to come to my part of town. Both technicians knew their job. Lack of parts and poor scheduling made my experience problematic. I cannot in good conscience recommend Sear's based on my experience.
