    Sears sent 2 techs to service my 95 year old mother's side by side refrigerator. The refrigerator was registering 42 degrees, had significant condensation on the inside, and mold was growing everywhere. The first tech gave the unit a perfunctory look over, said there was nothing wrong with the unit and sold us a service agreement. I requested a second service. The next tech was quite thorough and compassionate, replaced sensors and expanded the gasket but the problem persisted. The next service will be more than 3 weeks after the first service because Sears wouldn't overnight the parts that had to be ordered. No one was willing to do anything that wasn't "by the book." Also, depite filling out numerous e-mailed questionnares and requesting a contact from Sears, I haven't received one phone call or e-mail and have no idea whether the parts have been ordered or shipped. My elderly mother has been without the use of her refrigerator all along. The long delay and inability to diagnose the problem is unacceptable.
