  1. The service repair man went above and beyond!

    He fixed our washer and also did annual check up on dryer and dishwasher that we had scheduled for the next week! PLUS he called Sears and got us a refund on our old refrigerator service plan and got us a bundle quote on all our appliances.

  2. Great repair on our dryer

    We called Sears Repair Services to take a look at our 16 year old Kenmore Electric Dryer. John, the Service technician, called to let us know he was running ahead of schedule, and he could make it earlier than what was projected. Of course we said OK!! When he arrived, he examined the appliance and began his diagnostics routine. He quickly determined that the belt which moves the drum had broken. The repairs would cost a lot less than a new dryer!!. He did not have the proper belt in his truck and called to get one brought out to our home. While he waited for the belt to arrive, he vacuumed out the lint that had piled up inside the machine. He also gave the rest of the machine a quick review and let us know that everything else looked OK at that time. He installed the belt, and turned the machine on to verify that it was the proper fix. Voila ! It worked.

  3. I still don't have a working refrigerator!

    I am very frustrated that I called for service on Nov. 12 and it is Dec. 6 and my refrigerator still doesn't work. My first appt. was on the 13th but a part was ordered and the follow up appt could't be sooner than than 15 days later which included Thanksgiving. The part came 2 days after the first date of service. When the person came to install the motherboard it was a new person who didn't know the problem. After about $450 the problem remains unchanged! I will probably end up with a third person on the next visit. Both times I was given a large window and the person arrived at the end of the window. I now have invested many hours and I cannot get priority service for the 3rd visit.
