They hold you hostage 8-6 and do not update the website to give you any idea when the tech will actually show up on the day of service. On the first date I was scheduled for the tech just rescheduled the appointment at 6:05 PM to 2 weeks later without even the courtesy of a phone call. You would think after this experience that at least on the ticket 2 weeks later you would be the first call, but no the tech shows up at 5:50 PM, holding you hostage for another day. After the tech left, I noticed 2 holes in my ceiling as the tech stepped in the wrong place in the attic and pushed nails down :( Just sad...HI LEONARD ,We apologize for the difficulties your recent service has caused. I am contesting 2 charges to my credit card on 8/20/20 for $382.35 and $65.02 for a compressor that did not fix the problem.We apologize for the difficulties your recent service has caused. The repairman did absolutely nothing but open the refrigerator and take a picture of the model and serial number and prepared an estimated bill which included the $119.00 nonrefundable fee for the technician visit. He gave me a return date which was 18 days later and the part never arrived. He told me to defrost the refrigerator one day prior to his arrival. The icemaker was not functioning. I ended up remedying the problem myself. I am still awaiting my portion of the refund that I am entitled to according to Sears. I ended up canceling the order. The technician was very knowledgeable and experienced. He identified the problem quickly and was able to correct it. The dishwasher now works very well. My only criticism is that he was supposed to arrive by 5:00 pm. He finally got here around 5:30 but I was never told that he would be late.We are so pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did.
