We recently lost power in my neighborhood, and when it came back on the dryer worked but it didn’t heat up. It would just spin the clothes researching it online, many videos and literature stated it was the heat fuse. I called the service and I scheduled a technician to come in two days. Technician was knowledgeable, courteous and honest. He discovered almost immediately it wasn’t any fuse or any issue with the dryer but the problem was at the circuit breaker. The circuit apparently was tripped but for some reason there was some power going to the machine. A simple reset of the breaker fixed the problem. I would have never figured it out. Again, I was going to replace the heat fuse. Overall, the tech could have charged me and arm and a leg but he was very Honest. Would use the service again. Yes $125 a call is steep but it was worth it.We are so pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. About one hour after the technician leth the door came apart and the microwave became inoperable.We apologize for the difficulties your recent service has caused. My Amana fridge freezer is over 20 years old and suddenly stopped. The annoyed technician made it clear that we were wasting his time, but we insisted. He examined the compressor and said it had broken down and no repairs were possible. PS while we were choosing a new fridge, the old one started up again. Apparently no repairs were necessary. Service rep was fine. However my complaint is i scheduled my appointment online. Easy enough. Got an email as a reminder and the cost is $125. He evaluated my barbecue grill and determined it couldn’t be repaired. Replacing parts would exceed the value of the grill. That took MAYBE 3 mins.
