He repaired the oven quickly after having the part delivered

Serviceman called at the end of his window of arrival and said he was running late. When he arrived, he quickly assessed our range was too old to repair--about 40 years old-- but the repairman knew the unit, diagnosed the problem and explained it clearly if we wanted to pursue used parts on our own. It was not something he could repair he explained. I'd use this service again.

The timer went bad in my microwave on 1/3 causing it to not shut off at the proper time and a small fire occurred of the bagel inside for which we were attempting to defrost for 20 sec as we do every day. I had the first tech com on 1/6 and the second was supposed to come 1/10 but instead called to state that there was no need for him to come since the first tech estimated the cost of repair which was near that of replacement but then we heard nothing from Sears for several days until I called and complained. Today or tomorrow someone is supposed to make a decision to repair or replace my microwave. However we are not there yet and it was like pulling teeth to get even to this point. It was a sure case of the runaround with terrible service from Sears.Hi Eugene, thank you for taking the time to send your feedback. We apologize for your repair not resolving your issue. A member of our care team will contact you via email, to assist you further.

I won’t hire Sears repair service again. Local appliance repairmen are much less expensive!
