    When I first called, they tried a DIY solution, even though I knew what had to be repaired. So, it took two calls, but the repair was made.

  5. service was okay, but paying has been a giant pain

    Service went well, however, when it was time to pay, it was overlooked to use the 20% off coupon that attracted me to using sears for this service to begin with. When it was remembered, the service tech said that there was nothing he could do because he already entered the transaction. if we wanted to we could call billing for an adjustment. We called billing and they agreed to take the 20% off and that a confirming email would follow within 24 hours. Still am not seeing a discount and still no email. Call billing back and the first person said there was nothing they could do so we asked for a manager (who was not available). The manager called back and said she would transfer us to a billing person. the call was dropped during the transfer and no one has called back yet (been a day). The full price charge is still pending on my card and without an email, i have no idea if the discount will be applied, but I suspect no. I have been trying to at least give this struggling retailer a chance and can't believe they would be willing to lose a customer over $30. If I don't get the credit, I will cut up my sears card and give up on the store.
