  6. Refrigerator is still having same issues

    My freezer section of refrigerator was having ice build up. Technician came, looked at it but couldn't figure out the problem. I asked him to check seal on refrigerator section. He did and said that the seal was bad. Instead of replacing it, he tried to fix it which didn't work. He said the ice in freezer would disappear after defrost cycle - it did not. Will have to call another repair place to get it fixed.

  7. Great Technician Service - HorriblePhone Service

    the technician who ultimately repaired my dishwasher was great and very accommodating and I only have good things to say about him. However, my experience with Sears in attempting to get a technician sent to my my house was awful and I am seriously considering not renewing the policy I have on my appliances. It took 2 months of having a broken shelf I couldn't use on my dishwasher before Sears would send a technician and ultimately I had to lie and say I had the part in order to get a technician sent. Three times incorrect parts which did not fit my dishwasher were sent to me and I was not going to wait to have incorrect parts sent a fourth time, so I pretended I had the correct part. All this time I had been sending pictures of the part and dishwasher and describing what I needed to people over the phone. When the technician arrived, it turned out that I needed an entire assembly, not just a wheel as I slept being sent. I would still be waiting if I hadn't pretended to have the correct part. This new system is awful. People over the phone cannot correctly diagnose your problem and know what parts to send. If this is the new system, I will get a new company to warranty my appliances. The ratings below are for the technician, not the overall experience which I would give an F. I combined the 2 for the 3 stars above.
