    mixup in scheduling -- called to give new contact phone number, but was given a rescheduled appointment instead! totally unacceptable; had to call to ask for original appointment again; was given 3 different arrival times

    Wrong parts were sent so service was longer than expected. Otherwise, communication and repair was satisfactory. Repairman excellent. I had to clean off some sticky residue on washer.

    The service tech was great. He explained everything to me...particularly that because I/we couldn't find the serial # for my dishwasher which was under warranty he couldn't fix it. The phone reps I spoke to were also very nice and sympathetic with my problem. I did get a refund on what was left of my warranty. To bad the serial # wasn't stored by Sears. Otherwise, I was disappointed that I couldn't get the machine fix, so I bought a new one.

    Setting up the appt was easy and scheduled within a week of request. When I needed to reschedule that was also handled efficiently. The technician was delayed about 30 mins past the appt window but I was notified when I logged into the appt confirmation notice that there would be a delay.
